I did want us to lose one of the games in the play-in, but to be fair, there's no way they would have rigged it for us.

Have yall not watched how the refs/league literally make up rules to screw us in real time live in games and been doing so for YEARS? But you think they wouldn't have worked their magic to go against us in a much more convoluted process like the lottery?

I've said before and will say again, as long as Riley is the head of this franchise that will continue to be the case. The league is against him and thus the Heat.

So we would have had the 11th pick and not the 1st if that helps anyone else deal with this. Of course the 11th pick would have been better than being destroyed in the playoffs by frauds like the Cavs but it's a little better than thinking about losing the 1st pick.

Yea stay tuned, Dallas LOVES bigs. They’ll be in heaven with a Giannis/AD frontcourt if they can make it happen.

I hope so because I like Flagg, but I just can't cheer for him or even be bothered to follow him if he's in Dallas haha. Same thing happened with Luka.

You know what, just trade for KD already and be done with it. At least then we’ll have something watchable next season. I’m so done with Jaime’s pump fake drives.

Can’t forget Cleveland getting Kyrie with #1 pick right after LeBron leaving.

Just complete coincidence tho

Here’s some more cope for everyone lying to themselves right now, Bulls have it bad too. If the Bulls don’t beat the Lakers down 6 with 6 seconds left on a half court heave from Giddey they get the 1st pick

Yeah i feel like a deal is already in place.

I don't think the official Heat instagram account sending out a quote about Riley talking about ageing stars is a coincidence.

Durant can still be a needle mover. He's not prime Durant, but he's coming off a season averaging 26/6/4 on 52% shooting. Played 75 and 62 games each of the past 2 years, so health wise has been OK.

Even at our most dysfunctional, we weren't anywhere near the Suns or Brooklyn teams he has been on lately.

A trio of KD/Bam/Herro could still be something. Or we flip Herro for a better fit if need be.

This team with KD doesnt crack the NBA's top 10 power rankings.

If the Knicks win today I will consider it not the end of the world at least. Not that I'm a Knicks fan but the Celtics losing would be so **** funny

I’m sure none of our finals teams did either, get elite talent and go from there. More moves can follow, these fuxkers owe it to us after this nonsense tonight

Ignoring the insanity of the Mavs winning and the Spurs getting the second pick, but the 76ers getting the 3rd pick is just crazy. If one squints his eyes and they are ever healthy, they can win a ring or at least sleep walk into the playoffs next year. Just crazy draft.

They managed to snag three 1st picks in after LeBron left. That’s wild.

We’re still paying the price for the Big 3 days.

NBA is very likely rigged in a number of ways (but not absolutely).

Independent of that the butterfly effect works every second of every day.

Emote that boat tho.

If they get healthy, they'll be a tougher out.

They also could trade this #3 pick for a difference makes at the Point or Wing.

Sucks that they got rewarded for tanking it out.

I'd legit be so happy if we get KD and can retain Niko. Might not be possible, but a team of:

Dru Smith / Mitchell?
Herro / Larsson / Burks?
Durant / Highsmith
Adebayo / Jovic / Keshad
Ware / Backup Big / Love

I think we got either Big or PG at #20, if we retain the pick. Otherwise its probably gone in the KD deal and we need to go shopping.
