6th pick sucks. But we knew going into the draft that there was a good chance of getting the 6th pick.

Wanted pick 1 or 2 like everyone else here, but beyond Flagg and Harper it’s pretty wide open. The 6th could turn out to be as good or better than the 3rd or 4th pick.

Time now for the Zards FO to go to work…and for us fans to have heated debates over who the 6th pick should be.

I see some here are thinking big with Queen and Maluach…Sorber might be the dark horse in that race.

Philly clearly needs front court help, they could take either Maluach or Queen

Idk, I feel like they couldn't play with Embiid. More likely they take Bailey.

Good timing to take Embiid's replacement

I’m a big Terps fan, so maybe I’ve just watched him enough I see all his warts, but I really don’t want Queen. I don’t see a place for him on a winning team. Poor rebounding and bad defensive bigs are such a liability. He reminds me of a modern day Armon Gilliam, who had a decent career, but played on 6 teams and was never part of a competitive team. Knueppel is the only player I’d put below Queen in the lottery range. That guy feels too much like Kispert or Davis.

Those are my three. I think Maluach goes earlier. So unless we trade up I think we take Sorber at 6. Youth length and smarts. Dawkins trifecta.

How long do you give the DSW FO to turn it around? Seems it’s getting late early as they say.

Queen is set in my top 5.

I take Sorber over Maluach. I just think his feel and instincts are significantly better and he measures out extremely well.

Im so far out on CMB, I'm not sure I'm keeping in my top 30. Doing a deep dive I got Jared Vanderbilt vibes. I didn't see anything special other than a smart, active big taking advantage of guys & defenses he won't see at the NBA level

The Jase Richardson measurements were just brutal. I know he can play, but it's hard to say he's a clear cut lottery pick as a 6-2 sg.

I agree that CMB and Jase are likely to fall. Into the mix at the 18th pick.

I was gonna say draft night but I’m up in the mountains as usual that week. Talking lefty politics and swimming in the lake.

But PIF has 27 years on me. He’s Old old. :)

Sorber looks great.
Tre Johnson was disappointing.
Edgecomb measured pretty well.

What you not like about Johnson? He was taller than I thought. I was half expecting 6’2.” He’s 6’4.75.”

Maybe. But if we don’t tank next year we get the zero’th pick. So we are fully committed to the suck.

Hey willbcocks -- did I ever write something unpleasant about you? I do a lot of things, but "drone" is not among them.

That said, glad you're posting! Keep it up.

Doc & I had a great time hanging out and talking Wizards. We should get a real-world meet up on the schedule! We all know each other pretty well after decades! :)

Landing at 6 was disappointing to be sure. But, to be honest, the only guys I really like at the tip top of this draft are Flagg & Harper.

I think Maluach has a chance to be a real star. If we take him at 6, I'll be happy -- I just hope he'll be there!

Any chance of Bailey’s measurements dropping him to 6? If Queen & Maluach go before 6, VJ or Ace drops and the Wizards pick between who drops and Sorber, Johnson & Fears.

Bailey & Fleming isn’t bad.
Sorber & Fleming or Carter would be fun.

I’m a Wizards fan. I’ve been kicked before and I’m still here. Nothing new getting gut punched. Just gotta get back up and put it out of my mind.

Givony has the Gizzards drafting Tre Johnson and the Blazers drafting Queen.

If that happens, this board will self-destruct.

I’m good with Tre Johnson. Think he goes 4 or 5 tho.

I’m more for taking any of Edgecomb, Johnson or Bailey if they fall over Maluach. His reaction time and processing speed just don’t seem quick enough. If none fall I’d lean towards Fears
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.
