So tell me what DSW have done. I don’t see it.
Accumulating draft picks. Anything else?

I’m good with Tre Johnson. Think he goes 4 or 5 tho.

I’m a Texas Ex, so I saw plenty of Johnson this year. I would not draft him. Lazy gunner. No defense. No real go to moves. No thanks.

I think we should draft Jeremiah Fears imho.....

He has an ability that is elite, and I think it is better than the elite skills of most mocked players 6 and down....
Dude's 1st step and ability to get to the rim is only matched by Harper..... If he measures out a legit 6'4-6'5 he's potentially the lead scorer we need and he's like the 2nd youngest player in the draft..... I think we might've gotten lucky even if it doesn't immediately appear to be the case... I don't think I'd go Maulauch UNLESS his agility drills prove to be very good.... Not even elite because he's so big, but just very good agility metrics and I'd consider him, but if his numbers are slow and he's just a plain athlete then I'd go with Fears.....

I'm blown we didn't get 2, but I have been made peace with the reality that until we win, we won't catch the breaks, so I'm not shocked..... I'm of the mindset that we're going to draft our way out of this present situation, and time will tell if this is correct.... As of right now, I want to see how we address this draft having been dealt a trash ass hand.... If we do what we did last year again this year, then I think we'll accomplish two goals at once.... We'll draft 2-3 very good prospects, will keep our lotto pick next season, and will prove to be demonstratably better when our guys are going into seasons 3-4 provided we continue providing them with good vets to learn from.......

I see a lot of names being bandied about on the posts now that we know the Wiz are picking 6, but the facts are maybe one or two of the names bandied about that may be available at 6 does anything significant to help a team in desperate need. Furthermore, the chance of hitting on that one or two is remote. This draft was about Flagg and maybe ,maybe, maybe Harper. Anything else is a crap shoot and pure speculation. Good luck with the speculation business.

Good timing to take Embiid's replacement

You don't replace Embiid lol.

Embiid has made it to the conference finals, what?
Zero times. He gets hurt alot. Yes, he's a gifted
player but one who has taken Philly nowhere.

That sounds about right.

It would guarantee that Queen becomes a great player.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

I get it and agree…the prizes in this draft are Flagg and Harper. But that doesn’t mean that aren’t other good players in this draft.

We got two picks in the top 18. Let’s wait and see what this FO can pull off.

And yet I see a post a year from now asking what the FO has done and why aren’t we better yet
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

There will be more players who can be part of a
winning team than those 2 at the top. That is
virtually guaranteed. OKC has a #2 pick and a bunch
of guys picked all over the place. And they just
had one of the most impressive seasons in NBA
history. That model can be copied.

Getting comfortable with the idea of drafting Queen. Also preparing myself for the sadness when we draft Noa Essengue.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

He reminds me of a traditional Pg who needs a lot of possession to be effective. Him and Bub doesn't seem like a good backcourt fit at all.

I'd rather get Tre for a guard but Utah will probably trade up..

Winger/OKC type fits at 6: Johnson, Fears, Fleming, Traore.

Queen is not a Thundery type so doubtful we pick him.

These are predictions not what I would do necessarily.

At 6 I'll take Carter Bryant thank you.

At 18 I'll be happy with any of Sorber, Fleming, Asa Newell, or Drake Powell.

I know I will.... :D
