I may like Coward more than the other two. His 3pt shot is legit. Great length as well

We endured this sewer of a season to draft a role player...sickening.

Only Flagg is a sure-fire all-star calibre player, the rest of the guys can all end up being role players. However, this draft is deep and there will be all-stars scattered all over the place.

Just trust in Masai.

No one actually has a clue who ends up being a role player or a star or nothing: guys like Mitchell and Haliburton were universally viewed as low-ceiling players, while Siakam was viewed as purely a "rebounder".

Harper to the Spurs seems like such a weird pick given what they have at guard. I wonder if #9 and Grady or Jakobe for #2 gets it done

No the Spurs will use the pick to get Giannis or they will just pick at 2 and Keep building up their team.

Givony is speculating the same - that the spurs trade back for shooting. Harper doesn’t fit alongside Castle and Fox

They could just draft Bailey who they might like even more than Harper but who knows...I doubt they move a valuable asset like #2 for a worse pick that would be foolish of them....You move it for a legit superstar or you draft either Bailey/Harper at #2.

I want to like him but he doesn't seem to shoot/score very well and doesn't go left often. I wonder if this is something that can be fixed over time or will he be too easy to guard at the next level.

I wonder what the Raptor’s view on Sorber are. 6’9 without shoes and a 7’6 wing span.

Trade back for more picks, watch

Only thing I'll add here is there is often a very clear talent and physical difference between the guys taken at say 1-5 and 25-30. These players are ranked for a reason.

That isn't to say that a player taken later can't be better than then one taken earlier.

But yeah. I'm all for more picks

The main issue with Sorber is that he fails to show up against better competition.

We are running low on roster spots and are trying to win next season. I doubt Masai is looking for more rookies.

Look at the players remaining in the playoffs now: SGA was an 11th pick, Brunson was the 33rd pick. Jokic 41. Similarly we’ve seen bums drafted in the top 5 every year. It’s really a crapshoot.

RJ and 9th gets us what? Let’s find out!
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

If Maluach is off the board, I'd entertain it.

I just don't see what player there is out there that would cost around that much (even if we add Gradey). I think Giannis is now all but guaranteed to be a Spur. I think KD is just a bit of bad gamble tbh, I'll be surprised if he holds up physically and is he really going to buy in that we're a "championship contender" especially without retaining the 9th pick?! I doubt both.

Who else is really available that can move the needle?! As much as I do like Bryant or Fleming, I still feel a little sick to my stomach that we basically wasted an entire season for what was supposed to be a tank only to end up with a high end role player. So yeah if Maluach is off the board (who I think is the last big swing to possibly be available), I'd look to trade out or down.

Cooper is more talented.....When Cooper is in the league as many years as Barnes is hes prolly already a tier above Barnes....Also Flagg is on a team that can compete right away....They basically gave up Luka for AD + Flagg.....If Kyrie Comes back healthy they are going to be good next year because they also have bench depth to go along with that trio with players like Lively/Washington/Gafford/Klay....

Gonna be tough to see Barnes ever outshining Flagg during their careers.

drafted dick - shooter
drafted jakobe - scorer
traded 29 for ochai - 3&d shooter

Also Mogbo, Shead, Scottie and traded for RJ.

Dick was the only “shooter” you listed and ironically he’s shooting the worst out of the bunch.

Our team is factually one of the worst shooting teams in the league. If you’re implying they won’t draft a non shooter because of Gradey and Jakobe then great, we’re all in agreement on who we shouldn’t take
