Tatum injury aside, no doubt you have been the better, hungrier and more determined group and team in these playoffs
The ECFs between The Knicks and Pacers (I presume) is going to be sick.
Even if Tatum didn't get injured, I don't think we would have won the game and series.
Thibs and Bridges have been much maligned figures who have come up big for the Knickerbockers in this series. I really enjoy underdog/redemption stories like that.
Despite what others have said about my previous posts on this board about this series, I am not fishing for likes or empathy, I want to be someone who handles defeat gracefully (something I haven't managed very well in the past)
Knicks fans may well be the truest, most passionate and authentic Hoops fans in the world.
You have been ringless and out of the finals for way too long. Anyhow I know how excited and buzzed I was during the 08 Playoffs (after Years of suffering as a a Celtics fan since 1992, my first season in the NBA)
Enjoy the moment and buzz guys. Especially as you have been starved of succes for so long.
Hey condolences to Tatum, it's going to be a rough road for him, but he will be back. I will say that seeing all the Knicks greats from the past 30 years and seeing the KAT shoulda-been 4 point play from the spot LJ did it gave me a feeling, appropriate if we get to see the Pacers in the next round. Can't get ahead of ourselves, game 5 will be as emotionally charged as a game can be for your boys.
