the only team i can see dominating the east would be OKC matchup wise. Feel like the pacers and Knicks matchup well against anyone else in the west

Way less upset with this game than G1 or 2 to be honest, Knicks just couldn't miss in the 4th. Just gotta tip your cap to them and acknowledge we only have ourselves to blame. Praying it's not JT's achilles.

For sure. Tatum is an honorable opponent. Like, reporters tried to bait him about the officiating the other day and he said something along the lines of that you should play without the officials in the playoffs. Hope to do battle again with him in full regalia and hope it's sooner than later.

On a basic human level even as a Knick fan, feel horrible for Tatum. Knicks were going to win this game anyway and this is a brutal brutal way to end a season. ON a monster game...brutal.

If he’s following online it would say “tatum turnover followed by OG dunk 3 second later” or something like that.

I doubt true sports fans would laugh at this regardless how they feel about Tatum. Totally sucks this happened and takes something away from the playoffs.

Not true. Go to espn.com and click on box score. And click on “play by play” and click on 4th quarter and scroll down to 3:06 it says “Jason Tatum Bad Pass” and next line at 3:03 it says “OG Anunoby makes dunk”

Could also be a calf tear.. I'm recovering from one and if it's a grade 3 calf tear he would still be in tears and not able to walk on it

How did do that?

I walk a lot at work in zero drop shoes that put a lot of strain on Calves.. inside of left calf started hurting.. one week later stepped off of curb and it hurt more.. a week after that playing golf on the first hole tee shot it went pop.. told the boys I'm done.. hopped in the car with a bag of ice and drove an hour.. a few days later in PT and now I'm 4 weeks out and looking at another 8 weeks out.

I agree with this. Out of all the West teams, OKC is the biggest threat for the Knicks. Hartenstein was also Brunson's screener the previous seasons and especially in the playoffs so during the regular season in their head to head he seems to sort of figure out Brunson. But then again that's the regular season.

I think I would rather the Nuggets because KAT and OG can disrupt Jokic and then KAT can make him work on the other end.

Man, this really just makes you appreciate how fortunate some of those other repeat and three peat title teams are that they were able to make it through their runs without suffering injuries like this. It was almost a guaranteed lock that Boston would be, at the very least, in the conference Finals and now they're most likely gone in Round 2.

Not only that but if it is an achillies it's changed the entire window for the franchise.
Tatum missing all of next season and the Celtics likely having to salary dump Holiday and/or Porzingis will likely only be a play in team.

Pacers are real scared

Pacers are the 02-03 nets at best. Funny little runs but no real shot to actually win a title.

People need to stop sleeping on that team. They are really well coached, really good, and absolutely exhausting to play against.

I didn’t start the conversation. I’m not overlooking the Pacers. They’ve played great with the best offense in the playoffs.
