I think either team in the East can compete against any team in the West and the series should be fun as long as the officiating doesn't get involved.

I’ll reiterate what others have said. It will only be underwhelming to the people who don’t bother to watch the games in the first place. I wonder if a single person who doesn’t want to see Indy in the finals can articulate an actual basketball reason why?

I think people are sleeping on the Pacers and Knicks.

The Knicks for example... many people, including myself, thought Boston had a good chance to sweep them.

Knicks got hot at the right time, and now just one win away from going to the ECF.

These kind of teams can make for good NBA finals.

Maybe if Denver gets there from the west we'll have another walk over, but any combo of OKC/MIN v NYK/IND should be a blast.

I expected Boston to do a much better job but I assumed they'd work the ball inside. Easy work for Tom Thibodeau and the Knicks.

Boston needs to figure out the 5 position this off-sesson and learn to work the ball inside the paint on offense.

People were saying don't sleep on Miami and we see how Denver vs Miami went. People were saying don't sleep on Dallas and we see how Boston vs Dallas went. I think the same happens this season with OKC or Denver vs either Indy or nyk ( any other outcome would be different). People will say don't sleep on Indy or nyk vs Denver or OKC but ultimately they will go down in 5 or 6.

Knicks took away the paint, that's why the Celtics could find so many mediocre 3s.

If we win the finals what's the over/under on how many minutes before the "Are the Knicks The Worst Champions of All Time" thread?

And it will be from the same people who are arguing the NBA has more talent than ever.

Nah new york in the finals against any of the remaining teams out west would be lit.

Minny and nyk would be especially amazing. Revenge series for kat and randle.

Nah I doubt. If the Knicks make the finals I expect them to win it all. I have 0 faith in OKCs inexperience. It always shows up. But I would be damn proud if OKC won.

I think the Knicks beat any team out west other than OKC. The Knicks are a bad matchup for Denver.

It appears to me that the Celtics just have medicore talent at the 5.

I don’t think the West teams are that much better than NYK and IND is really peaking right now. But then again, I could be doing what people did last year where a lot of people here and in the media tried to convince themsevles Dallas had a real shot vs BOS. In the lead up to that series there was insane denial of how lopsided the matchup was, just ignoring all the on court evidence there was of the teams. With OKC, people might be doing the same thing predicting them to lose.
