I’ll be honest, the loudest I remember was still the 90s but that was before the renovations back when the stands would actually shake, especially the 3/400s. I’d say 1992-94 still the loudest but maybe I was just smaller. I got to see 1999 run and remember thinking it wasn’t as loud. I didn’t go during the pandemic Hawks series but that seemed next-level loud. Today was a solid 80% max volume despite the early C’a shooting barrage.

I’m gonna say this, in my medical opinion, and yes I’m a doc, the Knicks players are used to playing heavy minutes all season. Tatum wasn’t used to playing 40+ minutes a game, and with such level of physicality. The Knicks were, and that’s why that Achilles eventually gave.

We've seen it so many times... The opposing big star comes in to bully us into submission for a key stretch and essentially ends the game.

Tatum was giving it everything he had, hitting insane step backs, pull ups, driving to the rim and it all didn't matter because Brunson was right there to match him. He baked anyone in front of him. Truly insane stretch of shot making.
