This is from 2019, I think.

Say whatever y'all want about Tatum without fear of the Knicks being punished by superstition or karma.

Our whole team was injured last year and we didn't do anything to deserve that..

Bottom line is: stuff happens. Time and chance .. sometimes you're in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Nobody shed not one tear for us last year when half our team was hurt. NOT ONE.

Tatum injury aside, no doubt you have been the better, hungrier and more determined group and team in these playoffs

The ECFs between The Knicks and Pacers (I presume) is going to be sick.

Even if Tatum didn't get injured, I don't think we would have won the game and series.

Thibs and Bridges have been much maligned figures who have come up big for the Knickerbockers in this series. I really enjoy underdog/redemption stories like that.

Despite what others have said about my previous posts on this board about this series, I am not fishing for likes or empathy, I want to be someone who handles defeat gracefully (something I haven't managed very well in the past)

Knicks fans may well be the truest, most passionate and authentic Hoops fans in the world.

You have been ringless and out of the finals for way too long. Anyhow I know how excited and buzzed I was during the 08 Playoffs (after Years of suffering as a a Celtics fan since 1992, my first season in the NBA)

Enjoy the moment and buzz guys. Especially as you have been starved of succes for so long.

STFU AND GTFO!!!

Great game. Didn't watch it live because I was changing the cat litter, but saw every second later and the things they did tonight brought joy.

Peep the difference in the screens Brunson gets from Mitch Vs Kat, Josh and others. He really gets Brunson free, it was key to get him cooking. Loved the double big lineup, Duece in the game late....great navigating of the rotation by Thibs on defense. Active subbing...he's finally doing it on the regular, no more templates. Nice.

The offense goes as Brunson goes...he's our system on that end....so I'll continue to pray for his health. Tonight we saw how unpredictable that can be, one single step and everything can change. The way he was writhing in pain, felt bad for the kid.

I have nothing but respect for Tatum as a player and he seems like a really chill guy. I hope he's okay.

But I have no sympathy for Boston, or any other team. No one would cry tears for us if Brunson's ankle falls off. It is what it is.

I wish him well, and he will be strong as ever for next season.

Still i’m not losing sleep over the fact that someone else’s injury is an advantage for the New York Knicks.

teams like the Pacers and Timberwolves are happily whooping up on their injured opponents.

Also, this team held the line last night. They took multiple haymakers early on and they did not fold.

When Brunson had 7 pts 3asts early on in the game, I had a feeling he was going to have one of those games and he sure enough did. That was a superstar performance. He destroyed Boston with his own offense and he made everyone around him better.

The Fantastic 4 all with 20 or more points. I know it won't work like that every night, but this is exactly what we envisioned when Leon put this together. Suffocating wing defense, unstoppable offense. Finally we saw it comes together, with Mitch being the anchor. The team played with urgency, pace, and aggression.

Jrue Holiday - 4 points
Al Horford - 5 points
Payton Pritchard - 12 points
Kristaps Porzingis - 7 points

Combined 9-23 shooting

That's your ball game folks.

Those guys who killed them in game 3 were silent last night. That's the recipe. Let Tatum, Brown and White try to beat you but you can't let the other guys get off.

Edit: PAUSE

On a side note...Boston has to be in shambles right now. Tatum is out for a year probably and they're over the 2nd apron. Ooof. But they won a title with this group so I guess that's the trade off.

Been screaming this since Game 1: stay at home on their shooters. It won't matter how much Tatum scores if their roleplayers aren't getting open looks.

Tatum phased out the rest of the team. Kobe would do that too at times. Jordan knew better he always passed it some when he went crazy. 4ast for Tatum and 15ast for the team. That's bad

what i really want to say is, he was going bar for bar with captain clutch in the championship rounds but his body wasn't built for it cause he wasn't coached to play 40 minutes by thibs all year long

And posters mocked Leon the Don for carefully constructing this team to beat the Celtics.

How's Leon's vision to counter the Celtics looking now?
