A Brandon Knight-led team got us 40 wins.
A healthy Giannis + improvements from Green, Trent, and Porter, along with new 3 and D athletes can easily get us 50.
They'll play better due to not having to figure out how to implement Dame. And once he returns, he can come off the bench as a microwave scorer.
Will guys like KPJ, Trent, Lopez, Bobby and Sims be back next year? All of them?
How do you plan to get these new 3 and D guys you're talking about?
We're going to play better without our all star PG? And returning next year? I don't think so.
That's a lot questions without great answers that are required for us to maybe get to 50 wins. And that's before asking if that's actually a 50 win core.
Expecting everyone except Lopez back.
New 3 and D guys can be obtained from the same places we found Connaughton, Trent, and Green. Giannis' gravity should help them even more.
That's next year. After that, more picks are available for trade, we have expirings, and much more flexibility.
You're really trading our sure-thing superstar in his prime for prospects we have no idea about (remember how good Parker was going to be), because of one year of potential difficulty?
So many holes but your undying optimism is inspiring.
It's definitely not one year of potential difficulty but I guess we'll see.
