It's hilarious, honestly as unintentionally funny as the TWO thread.

I really don't think the incentive is there. I'm supposed to believe that someone like Flagg going to the Mavs is going to increase revenue sharing and league valuation so much that splitting it among 30 teams out weighs the benefit an individual owner would receive from jersey sales and multiple deep post season runs and possibly a title? That's not even getting into the massive risk to reputation if something like this was found out
Sending Luka to the Lakers increased revenue for the league. The Mavs getting Flagg was just part of the transaction.

Hypothetically:
We trade Poeltl for 2 picks at the prior trade deadline.
Tank hard enough to be bottom 3.
Even if we drop we'd end up in the top 7.
Trade the picks we got for Poeltl for a vet C available on the market.
Draft a premium prospect we can develop.
We would have been in the exact same spot we're currently in but with a better pick. Poeltl isn't that special there's a lot of defensive centers that can't provide meaningful offense.

Yeah you didnt address my point about revenue sharing vs individual profit at all. Any small market team benefits massively in revenue from having a player like Luka, jersey and ticket sales, deep post season runs etc... Also the TV deal is locked in, so i don't see how revenue sharing split among all lower revenue teams would be that much of an incentive.
As for Flagg being incentive, how do you figure that makes sense when Mavs were planning on being competitive? It took a significant injury to AD and a season ending injury to Kyrie for them drop into the play in, and even then they were only one play in win away from being in the playoffs.

The league benefits much more from that player being in a big market. The small market benefits much more from the league doing well than their individual team doing well.

The No-Rigged Camp has provided Evidence why it isnt rigged.
Where is the Evidence that it is rigged? We are still waiting.

Pretty sure it is rigged. Way too many "coincidences" over the years. It can easily be rigged with a weighted ball system. They don't televise live only show a recording. This is just in case something happens in the draw they can lose the tape.

What evidence? It's conjecture on both sides.

Uhh nope. If you are making claims of it being rigged you need to provide the evidence. The evidence it is not rigged is there is no evidence to show it is

What is the evidence that is isn't rigged? The NBA says it isn't. That isn't evidence.

There is 14 teams who send representatives to watch the lottery and observe. Why would they all go along with this and hurt themselves?
The NBA contracts an audit firm to audit the entire lottery process. Why would they lie and risk their reputation?
That is legitimate evidence. Everything for it being rigged is pure conspiracy.

LeBron leaves the Cavs in 2011 and they win yhe lottery with 2.8% odds.
LeBron returns to Cleveland and needs a supporting cast. The Cavs win the lottery with 1.7% odds and trade the pick for an All-Star.
LeBron goes to LAL and needs a supporting cast. The Pelicans with the lottery with 6% odds and send AD to the Lakers.
LeBron is getting old and ratings are in the gutter. The Mavs send Luka to the Lakers and win the lottery with 1.8% odds.
Either the basketball gods are real and they LOVE LeBron and reward every team that helps him, or this is clearly a pattern of rigging. The league, and all franchise owners have much to gain from the face of their sport doing well.

#2 happened before LBJ left Miami man![]()
You focus on teams with low odds of winning these lottery's, but ignore the actual reality.
In #1 - there was a 2.8% odds, but they still had the 8th best odds. There was a 28% SOMEONE with a 7.5% chance or worse was going to win.
In #3 - 6% is not a small % chance lol. They were the 7th best odds in the draft. There was a 26% chance NO or someone with "worse" odds would win that draft.
In #4 - Again. There was an 18.5% chance someone from the bottom 5 would win lottery.
Look over the last decade. The teams in the top 4 have won 7 times, and teams have jumped up 3 times. Based on the fact there is a 20-30% chance that teams from the bottom half of the lottery would win this exactly lines up with the math (which in a small sample is honestly surprising).
Y'all just don't understand numbers and don't realize these things happening is 100% predictable.

Lawyers are observing the lottery.
Everything is documented.
All the teams have insight in the Lottery. Even the media is present.
There is a ruleset in place, were every Detail is explained to a Tee. Any irregularity would immediatly be investigated, as it is immpossible to not notice when something is off.
This are just the things i know right now from the top of my head.
These are raw facts, not an opinion from me.
And those things have been mentioned over and over again by different people.
So no both sides are not equal. Your side has provided NOTHING of substance.
Damn you could even inform yourself if you dont trust anyone here. This knowledge is publicly available.
But i guess it cost less energy to make up stuff than actually looking up the facts and admitting that you were wrong.
But if you want to hear an opinion?
Get this, it will blow your mind .... the moon landing...... it was REAL
Honestly, this thread feels like talking to MAGAs.

The Kings players were called conspiracy theorists when they claimed the Lakers were given the series against them. Years later the ref was arrested for rigging the game. The Jazz will get the 1st pick next year and draft AJ. NBA players are even calling out this clear rigged draft.
