Yeah we got spoiled in the regular season. I don't agree 100% with the trade Garland crowd. I'd rather get rid of Allen for the right piece. He just always shows up soft when it matters. Slide Mobley to center and get another spacing big imo
I definitely don't think ya'll should trade Garland. I'm not sure what has happened with him in previous post-seasons, seems he hasn't done great in them based off comments, but I think he was very clearly just hurt for this one.
Both fanbases hate it each time I suggest it, but I can't help thinking that there's a trade to be built around Garland and Franz Wagner that could unlock both teams as absolute monsters.
I'm not sure if it will for the Cavs. Although I think the Cavs need more people with Wagner's temperament.
When I watch the Cavs and the Thunder I feel like both of them must have too many young guys that got too good too fast. They have the tendency to get punked by a veteran team. Maybe we won't say this about OKC if they win the Denver series and the championship.
The Pacers perhaps you can't say they are a veteran playoff team but they have guys like Turner and Siakam who were thrown in the fire having to play against LeBron in the east. They also have HoF coach Carlisle. This team can't be underestimated.
Cavs haven't had a relatively healthy series since playing the Knicks and getting thrashed two years ago but if they look at this post season and come to the conclusion that injuries is what held them back they will just exit the 2nd round again next year.
