I don’t think center is our main concern and want focus and resources used on a starting PG. After that, sure let’s go get a center.

Again…it’s not linear if Weltman has any capability at all. He can and should be looking to address two things in the same month…maybe even in the same trade. CHI has reasonable answers to two of our issues…maybe more…if Weltman is willing to concede picks.

Vuc is easy. Coby may not be…KCP & Goga + #25, future frp, maybe srps too. Might have to give them 16 and keep 25

CHI has a lottery pick this year…they can make a lot of progress quickly…if they don’t want to move Coby, we go get Simons…either way Vuc fits.

I guess that’s what happens when you do nothing for years and then you suddenly have a big to-do list and no time (or salary space) to do it all

I see us sending out 1 of WCJ, JI or Goga in a trade for a guard. Then, using Denver pick or 2nd round pick to fill out the last big spot on the roster.

I believe we ship out who ever gets us the best return. Hopefully one of them still have value.

I actually think Goga stays as he has the least amount of demand.

Wcj is too valuable to this team, he won't be traded.
Unfortunately goga is the most likely to be moved
We ll use our SRP to get a young C prospect like Raynaud
Suggs, AB, Jase
Bane, Melton, Jett
Franz, TDS, Houstan
P5, JI, Panda
Wcj, Goga, Moe

If we were to use #16 to get the guard we want (via trade), send out some redundant salary and then grab Maxime at #25...we win the summer.

Rasheer Fleming has near identical measurements as Jarrett Allen.

It's kind of a dirty little secret of the modern NBA. Everyone devalues centers, but it seems like the teams that succeed have centers that are pretty damn good.

OKC Holmgren and Hartenstein
Minn - Gobert
NY - KAT
Indy - Myles Turner

Jokic
Porzingis
Mobley/Allen
Sengun

What about Duran, Edey or Clingan?
I’d even consider Bamba for an ultra low contract 3rd stringer, but I like the above 3 and want to see skybox work up 6 different trade ideas. Lol

Bring back Jay Huff for 3rd string bench big. I really liked watching him play. Super cheap deal too.

I don't think he'll be there at #25...may not even make it past SAS at #14

I'd love to get Duren, although his rep is poor defense...I don't know if that's really true - DET has been great and he played 34mpg
11.8ppg on 69% from the field, 10.3rpg - including 3.6 offensive :o , 1.1 blks...carved out of granite...love to get him into Mosely's hands to create a defensive monster...catches lobs in the rafters.

I've thrown attempts to get Ivey/Duren in the past...can't see it happening unless DET, inexplicably, went after a FA Center this summer. I guess they'll have to make extension decisions for both of those guys and try to keep Beasley and THJ...so much for their cap room. If negotiations break down, I'll hit the trade machine

I'm not crazy about Edey. Clingan is untouchable in POR...I wouldn't mind a year of Ayton tryout-especially if we got off of some guaranteed money. POR fans have consistently rejected that...not sure who they think they'll be signing that's better than KCP/WCJ/Isaac for them. I think WCJ would be great in POR because he could play behind Clingan, but also next to him in monster lineups - with his ability to switch on the perimeter but also bang.

I'd take Bamba on a vet min if we could unload Goga in a trade and we miss on Raynaud or Wolf at #25. Dude can shoot...don't want to rely on him, but 3rd string guy with potential to ring up 5 3's on a given night-why not? He could hold it down with a good starter and Moe healing up.
