Replace Murray with Gordon and maybe.

Either are good with me. Lakers still need a starting C though.

OP did not even mention Jokic. It was a thread on how Denver can get better as a team. You're the one that brought this nonsense into this thread. So I guess Denver fans can't talk about how to improve their team, because Jokic is on it.

Look at the comments in the game thread bro. Jokic teammates are the only one getting blame.

This a team sport Jokic is on that team he's not exempt from criticism. Win as a team and lose as a team.

Denver lost but Jokic played great.

How is this a hard concept to grasp?

We praising players for playing well in a losing effort. Wow how the standards have changed.

This is the standard for the best player in the world?

Jokic scored 13 points on 4-6 shooting in the last quarter.

His teammates score 6 points on 1-18 shooting in the last quarter. That one solitary FG came when the game was over in the final 15 seconds.

Your post is an absolute joke. Do better next time.

The starters aren't the problem. You just need to be smart about which minimum contract you choose. Westbrook and Saric can't be the only acquisitions for this roster. You need to gamble more.

Ok lets see an example of such a gamble...

WTF?!
Murray is a superstar in Denver carrying Jokic through playoffs and in LAL it's not worth Reaves  :o :clown:

I'd trade Reaves+Rui for Murray definitely. I think Murray is very underrated around here.

He doesn't carry Jokic but also Nuggets wouldn't be contenders without Murray. He's their primary isolation scorer.

They are a win in game 6 at home then a game 7 win on the road from being the favorites for the title this year. They had an excellent chance to go up 3-2 last night.

Would SAC trade one of Lavine/Derozan + Jonas for MPJ + filler/pick?
That would solve Nuggets backup C issue also...
I would rather try to trade MPJ for multiple bench guys and put Watson as a starter next season, he is nice but he needs more time than what Malone gave him
I would keep Murray though as I don't think we can get much better than him now, unless SAS wants to trade Fox in some crazy deal around Murray or MPJ

I think you onlz watched Murray when he was hot vs the Lakers and even then zou might have watched only the highlights because he was garbage the last series they played.

If only there were signs Murray was regressing before signing him to an extension, when you had a full year to litigate...

It’s only other terrible contracts you’d be able to trade for. So Lavine, Beale type players

Lavine next to Jokic would be terrific offensively. Best gravity/play-making partner Lavine has ever played with is…old Derozan.

Lakers don't need Murray. They need bigs. That trade literally makes no sense.

Like i said, if anyone fits the Lakers need, its Aaron Gordon. Or Jokic himself. Not happening anyway.

Murray would make a great scapegoat for when they lose in the first round again

People wanted Lavine traded at the deadline to the Nuggets.

Not sure why all the hate for Jokic, without him, Denver may not even make the playoff.
