Haven't seen this option thrown around yet
Philly Trades: #3/2028 LAC FRP
Philly Receives: #8/#36/2026 own FRP and 2027 back
BKN Trades: #8/#36/2027 PHI FRP
BKN Receives: #3
OKC Trades: 2026 PHI FRP
OKC Receives: 2028 LAC FRP
Why:
Philly- gets control of it's future back
Brooklyn trades up to get Ace or VJ
OKC gets a higher upside pick and kicks the can down the road even further
Thoughts?

Too good for Brooklyn, not good enough for OKC or Philly.

Sixers aren't tanking. Trade back 5 slots and lose what could be a very good Clipper pick for their own pick next year that will be in the 12-16 range and a 28 1st that who knows and a 2nd?
No thank you.

I think it's fine for OKC, trading a likely low lottery-ish pick for a high variance future pick.

yeah its too good for Brooklyn. And Philly shouldn't be trading this unexpected boon for their own picks back. If they are good, the value isn't there and nobody with Embiid/Maxey/George should be making trades planning to suck the next two years.
