I’m afraid with my Patrick Williams PTSD I could not psychologically handle this pick.

This is silly. His stroke is fine. He will be fine.
Well, I do still think he’s a fine prospect at 12 and this doesn’t scare me off. But that strike is not fine. It’s crappy both in fundamentals and in natural fluidity.
I think almost anyone talented enough to reach the NBA can become passable three point shooter. I’m not suggesting he can’t. But there are numerous problems with this 3 ball.
Ive watched him a ton, this just isn't accurate

Eh, he's not the only one that's said that. It's been one of the notes on him all season. His defensive versatility and understanding of defensive scheme is one of, if not his best, attributes.

I don't see the problem, Peter Patton can fix...oh, never mind, pass.
And... there it is!

Totally disagree. Demin and Giddey can’t coexist. They are the same player. Might be the only player we literally cannot draft.

Quite a few people had this reaction, so I'll clarify my why I think they can. To me, I suspect Demin will settle in as a wing/point forward in the NBA. I don't see him being the primary facilitator, but more as a secondary one. I think there's something really fun about a lineup consisting of Giddey, Demin, and Matas -- three very tall, lengthy, versatile, and skilled guys. I like the potential ball movement, but what I really like is that it's three guys that just have a feel for the game. I love the mismatch potential of two jumbo guards in the backcourt. I also thought this team looked really good in the brief moments we saw Giddey and Ball together. So I do think they can co-exist.
