Crazy how quickly Dort has become one of the biggest floppers in the league. Dude is was too much of a beast for that.

He has definitely been doing less of that than Jokic this series, if we want to talk about flopping.

Don't be silly. When Jokic does it, its "high IQ" and "smart" and "crafty" but when Dort or SGA do it its shameless flopping and baiting. I wonder what the difference is.

Comparing dort to jokic lol. Lebron flops too, but he’s tiers above someone like Dort so no the criticism and talk will not be the same between LeBron, Jokic to Dort

The level of contact SGA and Dort have gone through isn’t even in the same realm as Joker. On one hand, Dort is allowed to be extremely physical when he guards and SGA has had a great whistle.

If you’ve actually watched a decent part of Jokers career you’ll understand that dude get assaulted routinely.

To be absolutely fair, Jokic has been flopping a HELL LOT in this series. You'd be blind not to see it.

Heck, the last game even when I was stressed he gave me a couple of huge laughs whilst doing it.

Why is jokic being tired viewed as more of an excuse than mpj being unable to lift his arm above his head?

Things that make you go hmmmm....

To be fair, for as much as people feel that Jokic routinely gets assaulted with no call, he also has been flopping like crazy and initiating a lot of contact and trying to sell it as a foul, which thankfully he didn't get against Williams for example, when he hooked his arm and then made it seem like Williams was fouling him. He was also bailed out by what I thought were blatant offensive fouls that didn't get called, which ended up in Nuggets points.

Cuz mpjs problem is physical. Being tired is a choice.

Honestly this is exactly what the mvp race has been this year -

Jokic the best player and SGA is doing great but not as good as Jokic but winning more

Pick your MVP- great player that wins the most or best player that doesn’t win as much

The MVP race has long been over. It’ll be SGA.

define like crazy please, because last I checked, a handful of incidents does not in fact make "like crazy". when people talk about flopping, they are talking about a player that on every given possession will flop if given the opportunity by the defender. see harden and people havingg to guard with their hands behind their back etc.

and yes, indeed SGA is in that category, when he goes to look for minimal contact on every offensive possession. it doesn't mean he's going to get it, but there are games where he will be at the line 20 times

this push to redefine jokic a flopper because of a couple plays is borderline gaslighting

Shai had one game this season with 20+ free throw attempts, 21 against Golden State.

Jokic had one game this season with 20+ free throw attempts, 24 against Minnesota.

You accuse people of gaslighting while actually doing it yourself, it's actually quite an impressive tactic. Kudos.

???? what exactly are you trying to say? there are no "games" plural? because last season he had one too. or that jokic has those games too, so he's the same as SGA? because for that, we have that neat little stat falled FTA per game.

You're making it sound like Shai has 20 free throw attempts on the regular while he hasn't.

I like Jokic but the man is a known flopper, anyone besides his stans know it at this point. And last night he had a couple of hilarious attempts, so it gets mentioned around here.

this is literally a reddit concoction created these playoffs because posting clicks gives you updoots and there were a handful of clips of him flopping. he is no in fact, a known flopper. that is not a thing, because he isn't flopping a lot.

consider the average possession. jokic runs down the floor, fights for position as he's grabbed by one or several people. or he sets one or several screens. or he goes for a basket attempt. is he flopping on each of those? where are the 20 flops a game? and that's just on offense, we've got the defensive side too. where are all the flops?

Ah yes, reddit. The known platform where everyone is against Jokic.

Keep fighting the good fight my man. Jokic never flops, is a virtual god and can do no wrong on the court. He's like the Jesus of basketball, you know what I mean?

Come on man joker is the king of flopping, but I will say he is one bad man on the court. But to say he doesn’t flop much is crazy.

Jokic has been flopping like crazy this playoffs. Can’t talk ish about Shai when Jokic has been flopping and foul baiting way way more than Shai this series.

I’m actually surprised I didnt know he’s like that

How can someone be watching these playoffs and say Jokic isn't flopping alot? He's really bad at it, too. He's complaining about calls ala Luka too.
