Bill Russell used the one night he was allowed back on earth to inhabit Luke Kornet.

Nice win.

VC to Brown and White. Both of them were great. Kornet with a close 3rd. He was great also.

Brown played great on both ends of the floor. 28 points, career playoff high of 12 assists, to go with 8 rebounds and great defense.

White was great. 34 points, on only 16 shots!! 3 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 assists.

Kornet was awesome. 10 points on 5 for 5 from the fields, 9 rebounds and a career high 7 blocks. That was the 3rd most blocks in NBA playoff history for a player coming off the bench.

Jrue stepped up in the second half. I love when he rebounds. 14 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

Pritchard with 17 bog points off the bench.

Al was solid with 12 and 5.

Hauser with 2 3s.

I said after game 3 that I didn't want to see KP play a single minute. I had a feeling Joe was going to start him. KP was awful again.

Props for Joe for a good coaching job other than playing KP. At least he didn't play him in the 2nd half.

Celtics Pride was on full display. White is my favorite player on the team. Loved how he, Brown and Kornet played.

The series should have been over now, 4-1 had he held on two those big leads at home in games 1 and 2.

Derrick White was a house on fire to start and just kept going the whole game. And my god, Luke with the game of his life. He needs to start the rest of the way, have KP come off the bench.

Celtics showed championship grit today. Celtic Pride, baby.

Brown was great, but he had had better games. The knee still isn't 100%. Dude is a warrior. Amazing game for him on both ends.
People wanted to trade him. This guy was our Finals MVP less than a year ago.

White was great as well.

So was Kornet. Yes, he should start. KP shouldn't come off the bench though. He shouldn't leave the bench.

He shouldn't play anymore in this series. He is hurting the team and himself by playing.

A few thoughts:
Why did it take us four games to figure out we need Brown to guard Brunson?

As great as Tatum is, the 4th quarter offense where eveyone watches him slowly dribble up court seems very stagnant compared to tonight with Holiday or Pritch sprinting the ball up the court.

Brown's been dealing with a knee injury.

Celtics need KP to sit on the bench and not move. How many times are people going to count on KP? He is going to disappoint you ever time.

3 hours late to the best Boston game of the year. Sorry I couldn't join the Fun on here.

There were quite a few reasons Boston did what they did.

1- was Kornet played like a man possessed. I have never seen anything like it. where was that all year long??

2 - the ball and players were Poppin. Boston played fast from the get go and never stopped playing fast. Where was that all year long Coach Joe???

3 - With KP looking like he died, Boston hardly used the Double Big lineup. That caused Boston to play a ton faster and everyone team rebounded like Dawgs even if Robinson killed on occasion.

Makes you wonder all the games Tatum would slow the ball down to do his thing all while our extremely useless coach allowed it to happen.

I am so Proud of the fight everyone put up for Boston. That type of energy and ball movement was what I was expecting all year long... Now just do it again please

It’s absolutely infuriating to think we should have been up 3-0 and maybe Tatum not playing so many minutes late in game 4.

No doubt he's had other great games (his Game 3 vs the Mavs stands out), but considering that this is win or go home, I'd consider this his best one. His dive for that loose ball ignited our run, and he was simply dishing out dimes all game. He looked like JT out there.

It's just a bummer that his knee isn't 100% so he can't do this every game. He always takes it up a notch in the playoffs.

Only 24 minutes for Al tonight, which was sneaky low. He should be more rested to go all out game 6.

Fantom fouls on flopper Brunson

Hope we attack him on defense next game. He has a tendency to jump the pick in the PnR. The sixth foul on him was a smart play by JB knowing he will jump. Just continue doing it and he will be out again

JB is much better in attacking KAT also. He knows how to generate the contact.
Just need refs that will call it (I doubt this will be the case in game 6)

I notice stopping bridges and Anunoby is key in these games. Stopping their wing players. Anyway game 6 is gonna be really tough. It sucks that we are not getting anything from softzingis. Idk if white can go for 34 again.

Gonna have to weather the storm but idk if white can go over 30 again. Shot 49 3s but made 22. I expect them to keep launching them. I wish KP gave us something but he has been a joke.

He's a bit arroggant. And when I hear him answering questions from the media sounds cocky as hell.

No joke. He is injured/ill
He shouldn't be playing at all (and that is on the coaching and medical staff)

Only I noticed that he has a bandage over his right wrist and thumb, in addition to his respiratory problems?

This is probably the weirdest series I've watched the C's play. Cause we've literally outscored the Knicks and have led by 10+ in the 4th in pretty much every game. Sad they didn't win at least 1.
Anyways, they can win next game. Just keep pushing the ball, move it and attack the rim, especially when Towns is in the game.

That would be a dang good trade by the way. Wonder if we can do it though, cause the C's will need to be below the 2nd apron for sure.
