I missed yesterday's game but Porter absolutely has to go. He just doesn't do enough for the Nuggets to justify such a large salary slot. A random assortment of some other team's end of bench guys (bad contracts or not) is a better use of resources because chances are a couple of them "blossoms" into their 8th-10th men lol

Denver had the lead in the 4th quarter.

You can blame his teammates he was on that same floor as his teammates. You're the best player in the world. You gotta close the deal.

Denver is not a serious basketball franchise. If Joker wants to win championships he needs to find a better franchise. These athletes have control. Nobody is forcing him to stay in Denver.

Ain't nothing he can do for them to make shots. He more than carried his end of the deal.

OKC also went basically the entire 4th without missing a shot so it's hard to win with that pressure

He could have took more shots lol

This is what you do when you are the best player. I remember LeBron getting criticism because he passed to his teammates. Joker is dominant he should have took over that game. His teammates weren't making shots he should have been more aggressive in crunch time.

Yeah, that was pretty crushing for my bet. Before the game I bet 50 to win 1500 on Denver winning the finals over NYK.

OKC is still a little untrustworthy. Crazier things have happened.

I don't know how you can put any of that on Joker. At least not this game. Had he played better in a couple of the earlier games they would have already been up 3 to 1. But last night he literally scored all the points in the 4th quarter except for that garbage layup by murray. Credit to OKC and their defense for taking away everything that Denver wants to do on offense like all of their back door cuts. and of course dort making three straight three pointers was probably not in the script. I mean it's not really Joker's game to be selfish and ignore his wide open teammates.

I'm not putting all of it on Joker, but to say he did his part and everyone else failed is just false. This is a team sport. 1 player doesn't make a team.

So he should contribute to the team more by not letting his teammates shoot or passing to them when they're open?

Yeah this is going to have to be a agree to disagree thing because I 0% agree with any of your take.

Maybe I'm wrong but you kinda just sound like you don't like him and you're finding an excuse to dig at him.

Yeah that's what this feels like. I mean that was the worst performance I've ever seen from a supporting cast in such a crucial quarter of a must win type high stakes playoff game. Porter jr gets a little bit of a pass because he was obviously playing injured. But Westbrook was so god awful in the minutes he played at the end of the 3rd and early 4th that you couldn't put him back in. He was toast. so nugz out there playing with basically four guys and Porter running around with his arm glued to his side. Murray was just straight up God awful. braun Looks terrified to touch the ball. And Gordon just completely disappeared. All that while the Thunder are running two 7 footers at Joker And shutting everything else down. Like I said earlier, the Thunder played excellent defense and if Dort doesn't miraculously hit three straight threes then it's not even a contest. But holy **** did the other 4 Denver players just completely wither and disappear. and then shai found his groove... over.

I said he's the best player in the world. No I don't actually care for other teams players I'm a Hornets fan.

Maybe you're just a Jokic super fan?

Maybe, but probably not. I'm not the dissenting opinion here either so...

Kornet going off has been my favourite part of the Boston Knicks series.

That and Brunsons stupid fouls.

Also, much smarter ball movement without Tatum step back 3 in the game

Curry needs to come on home and finish his career were it all began.

At this point with the East up for grabs there is a legit argument we give him a better chance at a championship then GSW does.

All he has to say is trade me home. We will be here waiting.

GSW will run it back, that's why they paid Butler and they can use Currys unlucky injury as a reason to try again

Giannis isn't stupid. There's a reason he wants to stay in the Eastern Conference. The West is a bloodbath For the Next few years at minimum.

Ant and TWolves look so much better when he's a willing passer.
Also when Randle keeps it simple he's super effective.

challenge of their coach to keep them in that mode. hard when egos get involved
