That Minnesota hasn't won a playoff series at home in 21 years is wild.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Playoff Jimmy has sucked the past 2 games when he was needed the most.

Every 4th quarter we'd be up by about 10 and I just sat there waiting for us to blow it (and of course, took Miami Heat ML liveline every time). Completely changed the series and we could've been up 3-2 or tied 3-3 but instead we got bounced in 5.

Yooo some of those Miami moneylines were +3500 toward the end. Hopefully you were well compensated for your disappointment.

It's going to come out that that fall really messed him up but him not taking shots or passing out after driving into the paint is who he's been for awhile now. Only gets worse from here.

Jimmy had his ass blown out so it’s hard to judge him too badly. He’s been gutting it out.

I dont think Jrue is an option for us anymore. There was definitely bad blood after the Dame trade. His wife hates the org.

I dont think the Knicks can beat the Pacers. They've been getting killed by team ball throughout the playoffs and have really only been bailed out amazing offense for short stretches, inexperience with Detroit and when Boston goes heavy iso ball. It looked like they had no answers to defending Celtics last night, who were noticeably better at moving the ball.

He's going to be a player somebody can use until he retires. Just not as a 2b offensive option.

We don’t need a 2B offensive option. We need solid role players to make smart basketball plays and play defense. I think Holiday is plenty capable of still filling that role. But as someone pointed out, I don’t see him having any interest in a reunion after blindsiding him with the trade. It’s petty but it’s personal and I can respect that. It’s worth a thought tho.

I don't know how much you can attribute to age or injuries when Jimmy was so passive, in spite of his teammates sucking at offense. In 3 out of 4 games w/out Steph he shot 13 or less times. Once was single-digits. He was regularly passing up decent looks to facilitate. It was weird.

That deal might be looking good if Steph were Batman. But for whatever reason Jimmy stayed in Robin mode w/ Steph out. So it arguably hasn't paid off so far. That said, they're not in the real playoffs, let alone get to the 2nd rd (which we haven't in 4 seasons) w/out him.

If Saratsis gets the ATL job; does Giannis try to land with the Hawks... ATL thread...

Could he still continue being an agent & a leader of basketball operations for a team? Giannis becomes a free agent or his own agent... That side of the coin could go in the Giannis thread.

Yea if steph doesn't get hurt there is probably at least a 40% chance they win this series. I don't think they'd have been able to hang with OKCs youth/athletes, but if Den were to somehow knock off OKC they could've easily made the finals. But those are the risks running a team with top two guys being like 36 years old, at least one is likely to get hurt. It worked in general that it was a fit and they played great once they acquired him and it at least gives them a lifeline to contention in Stephs last couple years

What's going on where Masai Ujiri is in the running for POBO in Atlanta?

Someone saw value in having Marc Stein report on it at a baseline, nnd notable if only considering his longstanding Giannis pursuit:

It is not clear if the Hawks have any realistic chance of signing Ujiri away from the Toronto Raptors. During Ujiri's mid-April press conference, he vowed that the Raptors would win a second title during his tenure with the franchise.

I want OKC to win the series but I love game 7's so go Denver tonight. On the other hand Denver getting bounced at home would be sweet. Win/win.

Bet the Murray under with him being sick, so a Jordan flu game is what we'll get.
