Evan Mobley vs Jalen Williams
Which guy is more valuable right now? Might be the same, but who is the better player?

Re: Evan Mobley vs Jalen Williams
I think Mobley is the more valuable/better player right now.
In my mind, I think Mobley should be 1st team All-Nba this season. Even if you aren't quite as bullish, I do think he had a better season.
Last year, I thought Williams was better than Mobley.
Mobley has been a legit DPOY candidate for multiple years at this juncture. However, this year, his offense really took a leap. He became a legitimately good scorer in the RS (I would say he was ahead of J-Dub there), while still being a DPOY-level guy (who actually won the award).
It will be interesting if over the years, if these 2 will jostle back and forth for position of better player.

Re: Evan Mobley vs Jalen Williams
Mobley by a mile. In certain aspects he honestly reminds me a little bit of Bill Russell. Similar body types with the necessary athleticism, mobility and agility to guard smaller players on the perimeter, and they both keep blocked shots in play to start fast breaks instead of showboating and swatting the ball into the stands. Of course we'll have to see how the rest of his career plays out, but as of right now I don't think it's crazy at all to say that Mobley has the potential to be a top 10 all-time defensive player when it's all said and done. He has all the tools to make that happen. Legitimately guards all 5 positions and provides elite rim protection without being overly foul prone. If he can keep up his current level of defensive impact while also further expanding his offensive game he will be an undeniable top 5 player in the league.
