Not even that he grabbed them, he actually yanked down on them to cause pain. Like it’s a flagrant, and Hart reacted like any reasonable person would and they essentially said “play ball”

1. What he’s saying and what I said are two different things. No where did I say BOS Is better without Tatum. I said the way Tatum played to end the 3rd quarter allowed us to come back. I’ve been calling out every time he chooses ISO chuck fests since game 1. I do the same for Brunson. It’s not sustainable and let’s the defense off the hook, opening the door for the opposition. Mikal is doing what you are suppose to do communicate...what is Hart doing? He's jogging back and then after being told where to go he doesn't do it because it would have been extra effort. I typically love Harts effort but this play was on him. He needs to first sprint back. Then when Mikal communicates where he needs to go he needs to do it even if it means to run harder.

KAT gets caught in no mans land for no reason...but the play starts by not getting back in transition.

It's pretty aggravating that we are in the 2nd round and guys have absolutely no clue where they are supposed to be defensively and they're not communicating/making extra effort. This is stuff that should be hashed out like in December

the lapses are costly and too frequent. periods of time they look like they have it down, but then don't sustain it. that living energy of the game. celtics been there for literally years. we really just starting as constructed.

Dick Grabber seems to be friends with a rapist so it's all starting to make sense as to why he felt comfortable enough to sexually assault Josh Hart.

BOS can show up for Game 5 in a big way even without Tatum. Their talent level without him is at least the 4th best team in the East IMO. Tatum killed their flow in that 3rd quarter (despite also making some big shots) and everyone else was way out of sync. Now, they have a chance to run an actual offense where everyone is involved. And as we just saw last night, talented teams that play that way are a **** buzzsaw.

Brown def has the chops to be a top tier go to guy for a few games despite his struggles, White & KP can get hot, Pritchard can and has dropped 20 pts this series, Jrue & Horford can provide two way support.

Series ain't over yet. Knicks have to come with that same fire like they did last night, which was never in question even when BOS went up big.

They still have talent but their shot creation takes a massive hit without him, especially hunting switches as KAT has done a good job on Brown.

That would assume he was looking to create shots for others

I've been a Tatum is on the same level as Luka guy for years not b/c I think he's as good a shot maker / scorer, but b/c his floor game could be absolutely elite while dropping a somewhat efficient 25. But he's gone away from that this series.

Just b/c he made a couple doesn't discount the impact it has on momentum and the flow of the offense. It's the same reason why I call out Thibs when he goes to SMB too early. It's hard to get your mojo back once you destroy it.

I'd bank on BOS looking a lot better IF they stick with team basketball. Will it turn into a W? We'll see as that depends on which Knicks team shows up

Hmmm....

I agree with Boston being talented enough even without Tatum to be like the 4th best team in the East. But I think regardless of him disrupting the flow of their offense when he tries to hero ball, Boston with Tatum is a championship level club. Without him? Not a chance.

Boston with Tatum is a championship team. Without him they are nowhere near that level. Tatum is elite and doesn't resort to grabbing meat to win games.
