How well would a team of Jokic clones do ?

Post#1 » by Prince187 » Thu May 15, 2025 8:30 pm

Let’s say you had access to cloning technology and you cloned Jokic 7 times to give you an 8 man all Jokic team. How well do you think that team would do? 82-0 and most dominant team ever or do you think there would be some serious flaws?

What if you cloned other all time greats in their prime like Steph, Jordan, Bird, KD,etc. Which teams do you think would be the best and which would struggle?

They'd allow 200 a game, no defense. They'd win less than the wizards.

There were some advanced stats that came out recently about Jokic’s playoff defense and they showed that he’s actually an above average defender when he wants to be. But he’s usually forced to conserve his energy and avoid getting in foul trouble because of how important he is on offense. He wouldn’t have to conserve his energy anymore with a team of guys just like him and he could go all out on defense

Score 150 a game while allowing 130. Not bad overall.

They would do better than a team of 8 Jordans i guess. Some Jordans might murder the other Jordans for ball hogging.

They'd have a really hard time at most aspects of defense, but they'd score on every possession. Imagine multiple Jokic's on the offensive boards any time they missed.

This would be hilarious and entertaining to watch. Even multiple Jokic's running with that goofy running form would be worth the price of admission.

The passing would be amazing if he had teammates that would cut lol

Maybe some slow pick and roll to post-ups. I think his best bet for defense is to keep 1 Jokic in the back court at all times.
4 Jokics could be enough on offense if the other team doesn't get hot from 3.

Jokic running PnR and DHOs with himself would not be great. When at least 2 Jokics foul out per game, who comes in?

I'd take a team of LeBron clones over them

Almost as good as the team of Shaq-Earl Boykins clones.

2 more Jokics. It's Jokics all the way down.

A team of all Lebrons would probably be the best because he’s a 3 and can play all 5 positions. A team of all Jordans, Birds, and Magics would do well also.

I think the Jokic team would have to play a zone defense, but that’s still a lot of length.

I think a team of other all time great big men would struggle to have spacing on offense, and get the ball up the court.

A team of all Currys(Curries?) would struggle with interior defense and rebounding.

If they could just play a half court game it'd be interesting. But a team of all bigs would struggle massively full court.
