Maybe our assistants aren’t trash after all like some have previously mentioned.

i remember at the time we were happy with all the signings when they happened. they were all wanted league wide and it appeared we were spending money on proper assistants finally.

hopefully there is a long term plan that we will start seeing improvement soon.

Jokic is my MVP.

I hate all the GOAT arguments, its too hard to get to a consensus but top 3 guys in order I would pick to star for my team are:
MJ
Jokic
Bird

I know Lebron is great, but what Jokic supplies from centre is just so easy to build around and get others to flourish. If he was 6'6, he'd be a solid guard but as a 7 footer, its ridiculous.

MJ and Bird are just super skilled, stone cold killers.

I know plenty of people will disagree with me, I often have different takes when it comes to my favourites but they're the 3 for me.

they are so thin its gotta be tough on the coach, but I'm so glad its going to game 7.

was thinking Denver could be a nice place for CP3 to spend his last year in the playoffs. He would be handy to run things when Jokic sits.

Do you think they have to give up part of the core to fix the depth problem? Already lost a coach because of it. :noway:

First thing you do is search for solid vets who are happy to play for little money for a chance for a ring. Hence why I mentioned CP3. Even Deandre Jordan filled in decently last series.

You could shop MPj to see if they can get decent pieces but I doubt it. Gordon has been to valuable this off season to move, so I think they're stuck a little.

One of our other assistants has been very successfully coaching teams at the combine as well.

Yeah that's where they just haven't really done any favors the past two years. Most teams that are in that position almost always add some kind of vet buy out player After the deadline.

The Thunder supporting cast almost tried to pull a game five Nuggets tonight but they weren't quite that bad. Plus they are twice the defensive team. I'm actually jealous at how okc plays defense. They can swarm you with two 7 footers or they can swarm you with 5 switchable super quick defensive wings.

I think the NBA is as good as its ever been, but I do think it could be improved.

I would like to see them stop allowing offensive players to initiate so much contact. I dont think they should go back to anywhere close to the extreme of the 70s and some of the things they would call offensive fouls back then, but I think theyve gone too far with how much they allow offensive players to initiate contact. I think tweeking this would help defense a bit and get rid of a lot of the foul baiting stuff that relies on offensive players throwing themselves into defenders.

I think they should get rid of the defensive three second rule. It doesn't have that much of an effect on the game imo, but its a rule that has outlived its usefullness. NBA offenses are so skilled and advanced now that they don't need the defense to have this minor handicap and there is natural counterplay that pretty much any team can utilize. If teams don't want an opposing big to camp in the lane on defense they can counter it by playing smaller or playing a big that can shoot or attack from the perimeter.

This is kind of related to the first thing, but I think they have let things get out of hand with moving screens and should dial that back a bit.

The last thing is super small but seems like a no-brainer that I can't believe they haven't already changed, but they should use the FIFA rule where if a team shoots an air ball as the shot clock expires and the defense gets the rebound the play should not be whistled dead.

The actual best thing they could do to improve the league would be shortening the regular season to like 60ish games, but that will never happen.

I would leave the 3pt line alone.

I truly believe that if we ever get our **** together and go on a run like the Knicks are doing their crowd and atmosphere would be childs play compared to ours.

I am fully on the Indiana bandwagon from here, would love to see an Indiana-Wolves final.

it would have been so appropriate for one of the Knicks starters to get a serious injury in the 4th quarter tonight. thibs With the starters still in the game with five minutes left up 35 points.

If Aaron Gordon was a hornet he'd be on the injury list till December of next year.

Alex Caruso's perimeter defense is absolutely ridiculous.

westbrook -14 in 7 mins
he's amost unplayable at times like this. he cant deal with the def pressure out top. nugz bench is so painfully trash. I think I'd rather have the Hornets bench - mann, grant, nurk, moose, okogie, nsj, curry... lol. I might actually take that over the trash the Nuggets put out there.

So we got Gordon on one leg, Porter with one arm, Murray out to lunch and Westbrook completely unplayable.
