I need to watch some game tape on all 3 just to get a better sense for how they function on the court, but at this point I'm pretty much tied between VJ, Ace, and Tre. Might be highest on Tre because of the combination of good measurements + athleticism + bankable elite shooting

I'm on day 3 of having VJ at the top of my list. After that it gets murky but:

I'm pretty dang happy we're at 4, I feel pretty good about any of VJ, Ace, or Tre as building blocks.

My personal board (yeah…somebody call ESPN) as of May 17th: Harper, Ace, VJ, Tre (no Flagg obviously). Harper will go 2nd but he tops my board, just in case we’d get a little crazy and trade up.

Anyone concerned Harper may not be as good a shooter at NBA level? He’s a good but not great shooter, has good form. His playmaking, handle and shot creation are really good, but at the next level I just wonder if his pure shooting may be tested far more than against the modest college players he’s faced? It’s doubtful the Spurs will pass on him, as his consensus #2 ranking would require some serious guts to ignore. But they could engineer a trade for some team desperate to move up and snag him…OR jump ahead of Philly to take Ace. That sounds crazy but private workouts for teams will give much more clarity around preferences.

Those workouts will also light the fire of some teams to position for the rapid climber, the lust object for some GM’s. Peterson fell in LOVE with the idea of Tiddy while in France scouting. He may have preferred Castle or even (ugh) the little Sheppard boy, but he LUSTED for what Tiddy might become, and how SMART he would show himself to the world by being so clever.
