I mentioned this before, the Jays rotation is not going to hold up. Gausman and Berrios are closer to average now, Francis has been awful, and they have no fifth starter. Luckily, Bassitt has been good, but it's going to be hard to win consistently with one good starter, a couple of average/solid ones, and then nothing else.

Good news is this team is finally hitting for some power, the bad news is the pitching can't be trusted anymore.

Is Santander going to do anything?? Is this what a $92,500,000 player looks like? My God is he awful.

Springer back to mediocrity after a hot start. This team is not making the playoffs this season. Start selling off your vets and trade Bo. Start the rebuild. It's time. This Shatkins era has failed.

Normally I’d say to move down Santander, but we don’t really have any other option except to hope he turns it around. Springer is back to normal, Varsho is a career .200 hitter, Kirk might be a good option but he’s so slow around the bases.

They won't start the sell off until closer to the deadline, when they know for certain the playoffs isn't happening.

It's probably better that way. A few more months of Bo playing better will improve his value... his value is still not that great right now coming off last year.

That being said, with the decline of the AL East this year I can see 85 wins being the #3 wildcard spot. And I can see management holding on with what we have if we are within 5 games of the wildcard on July 31 (merely by being a .500 team). Which would be the worst scenario.

Taking a deep breath only prepares one for a bigger rant. :)
