Beer gardens are open in the Milwaukee area. I enjoy some of them. A chance to relax and have some cold beers in a nice setting. I was going to go to one for the first time this season but it's looking like some more storms may be on the way. And crappy weather the next few days. You get your beer in an actual glass instead of a plastic cup. You pay an extra $2 for the glass and keep it. Then pay the refill price. And you can use the glass from year to year.

Pectoral injuries: gotta say, not fun. I don't know the extent of mine because I'm putting off a potential MRI and corresponding bill, but it's been five days and I feel like the pain is just getting worse.

Bought tickets for a bucket list item of mine. The Dirty Heads at Red Rocks. Easily my favorite band ever by a mile, literally 4 tattoos of them. Cannot. Freaking. Wait.

Red rocks looks amazing. We hiked all around it....and then got scammed out of tickets off Facebook marketplace to see Weezer there about 5 years ago. Luckily got our money back though
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

Beer Gardens are the best part of the summer in MKE.

South Shore is the best imo. Beautiful. Good selection. Food. Beach right there.

Estabrook also awesome when live music playing. Less beer and food selection, but the river is there and very family friendly.

Hubbard Park is dark horse favorite. Very secluded on the river. Less busy. Very shady if hot. If you’re on a run or bike ride it’s right off the Oak Leaf. Great spot
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

South Shore is my favorite. I sometimes go to Whitnall Park or Juneau Park. I haven't been to the others.

21 within 3 shots of the lead at the PGA. CBS camera guys are the worst at tracking the balls. I'm glad they don't have the US Open, British Open or Ryder Cup.

I've had bad versions a few times in my work cafe. Made them today with onion, bell pepper, and jalapeno for a breakfast burrito that was really, really bad. Decided from now on to just make the delicious home fries and eggs and forget all the other bullsh*t.

I'm not really surprised by food stuff anymore but those potatoes shocked me. Just absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. I went back to the market tonight and picked up ingredients to make them for dinner and breakfast tomorrow.

At least two people were killed when the Mexican Navy sailing ship Cuauhtémoc struck the Brooklyn Bridge Saturday night, according to New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

“At this time, of the 277 on board, 19 sustained injuries, 2 of which remain in critical condition, and 2 more have sadly passed away from their injuries,” Adams wrote on X.

The two individuals who died fell from one of the ship’s masts, a law enforcement official told CNN. They were pronounced dead after being taken to a nearby hospital, the official said.

The ship has since been moved to New York’s Pier 36, the official added.

City officials earlier said “mechanical issues” may have caused the ship to strike the bridge, but cautioned all information so far is preliminary.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

Jesus. What in the hell were they doing there?

Great run for Sinner in his first tournament back. He didn't have his legs in the 2nd set but Alcaraz was unplayable in the 2nd set, just an absurd combo of athleticism + power + shot variety & touch. Can't get anything past him and he's throwing every type of shot at you from everywhere.

The Sinner-Alcaraz rivalry in tennis is one of the dopest things in sports right now. Sinner is the more complete, more consistent, and fully formed player at this stage and he's more dominant against the rest of the field, but Carlos probably has the higher top end level and is also just a bad matchup for him. It kinda reminds me of mid-late 2000s Federer/Nadal. Where Federer (Sinner) was a couple years older and further into his prime and a fully formed world #1, totally dominant and borderline unbeatable against the rest of the tour...except against the explosive, young Spaniard (Nadal/Alcaraz).

Think the best example is 2006, Federer's peak season, where he went freaking 90-1 against the rest of the tour, but 2-4 against Rafa lol. Similar to Sinner who between 2024 and 2025 so far, is 85-3 against the rest of the tour, 0-4 against Carlos lol. He's won 42 straight matches against dudes that are not Carlos Alcaraz

Pretty funny way for Sheffler to celebrate, at first not really showing much and then out of nowhere spiking his hat on the green and yelling a big f bomb.

That was a crazy final round. Scheffler comfortably ahead to start. Then tied half way through. Then a 5 shot win.
