WCF vs Team to be named later
I'm tired of not having a thread for this. Wolves will be rested and healthy for whoever we get. We have to prefer it's Denver. Only 1 time in history has a 68 win team failed to make the Finals. I hope we don't have to buck those odds. Do we need to play better. Yes we do. So let's play better. Go Wolves!!

I honestly think I'd rather play OKC...they seem very beatable and honestly I'm not sure they are ready for that next step. One reasons I might want to play Denver is that I have a bet with the Wolves to win the Western Conference and playing Denver would be easier to hedge, but I think we will beat either team. Doesn't seem like Conley will be hunted and be unplayable like many on here were saying.

You've got a vibe. I get that. I get them too, but in this case I'd rather go by their 68 win dominant season. They're not a team I would pick to go against if I had another option. I'll be very happy if Denver comes up with a big game to knock them off on Sunday.

Re: WCF vs Team to be named later
Let’s hope Rudy is able to stay focused. He’s getting killed a bit on social media at the moment. His ex-girlfriend apparently came out in the past couple days and said that Rudy kicked her out at the beginning of the playoffs and won’t let her return to France while they work out custody. They have a one-year-old together, and I believe she is currently pregnant with their second child.
I doubt that is all the facts, as it is just her side of what’s going on. But not a lot of benefit for him to litigate this is public.

Gobert posted this on his Instagram yesterday...TMZ headline seems bit of a click bait....hope they can figure things out
"A lot of inaccurate information out there...
Julia and I are currently in the painful process of redefining our co-parenting relationship. Being a father is one of the most profound and meaningful experience i will get to live. It is one of my most important life purposes and will be so forever.

Which is 100% the correct response. Unfortunately, the ex-girlfriend responded with a “LOL” to Gobert’s post.
Breakups/divorces are hard, especially when young children/pregnancy are involved. Hopefully, Rudy does not get too distracted. I have no doubt some media will ask about the situation.

Chris Finch and Minnesota Mike talk about how the Wolves are prepping for the WCF.

Re: WCF vs Team to be named later
I now kinda understand how Mavs fans felt last season during WC Semis...seeing the talk of how winner of OKC/Nuggets will be winning the title reminds me of the chatter last season about how winner of Nuggets/Wolves was supposed to win title. Wolves probably prefer the underdog narrative

The Mavs were a good team that got hot at the right time and got us when we were really worn down. I predicted they would do nothing this year and I was right. As for us we are in a similar situation to the Mavs of last year. Hot down the stretch and in the playoffs so far. I think we have a shot to win it all this year, but it won't be easy.

Re: WCF vs Team to be named later
The problem with facing the Thunder now is they are no longer inexperienced in the playoffs. They just went through a very tough 7 game series with Denver and have confidence.

We have to control Thunder runs if we are going to win the series. They are capable of going on a 23-4 run in 4 minutes.

Good thing the Wolves have a coach who will use his timeouts to prevent said runs...

A timely timeout can help, but scoring and defending have more to do with ending opposing runs than a timeout.

OK, it's OKC. I hope Wolves take them to 6 games. Its going to take a minor miracle to beat OKC.
