pretty much. I thought Doncic fans were the worst but those Jokic fanboys are on another level. The fact that a lot of them consider Jamal Murray/Aaron Gordon as scrubs is the weirdest thing I have seen from a banbase (and that's coming from a guy that think that Jokic is the most dominant player I have ever seen)
Dont you get it, Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray are certified scrubs because they've never made the reputable all star team. The same All star team that legends like Kyle Korver made averaging a monstrous 12 points per game. Same allstar team thar Yao Ming made when he played 5 total games one year.
Gordon and Murray are barely NBA roster worthy, can’t you see? Nevermind the fact Murray is top 3 in total playoff points scored alongside Joker. Nevermind the fact that Aaron Gordon leads the playoffs in offensive rebounds, can guard 1-5 and has hit multiple game winning shots. They are complete scrubs because they didn’t get named to a mythical regular season team and they should thank Jokic everyday for existing.
No joker fan thinks Gordon is anything but an elite teammate, he’s excellent. Murray is what he is, extremely hot and cold, high floor low ceiling. The real issue imo is the 35+ mil a year being wasted on MJP
There was a Joker fan who listed Norman Powell as a better player over Gordon during the Clipper series. But to his credit, he retracted that claim and admitted his bias as a Joker extremist.
However, a disturbing trend exist among Joker fans where they just list all star appearances as if thats the end all be all to show the lack of quality of the team surrounding Jokic. Aaron Gordon will never be a superstar but he's one of the best "star" role players in the league. The guy does literally everything well and is the defensive anchor of the team, covers up a lot for Jokic's rim protection deficiencies. Murray is streaky but when he's on, there is no guarding him. He and Jokic have some of the best 2 man chemistry in NBA history and Murray routinely raises his level of play in the playoffs.
This isn't the small ball big 3 era anymore where you can throw 3 perimeter allstars together and win a ring. Ask Phx how that worked out. Jokic may not have sexy names around him, but the team was built around him and his skillset in mind.
