Who cares about those 7th graders......lol!
This is why it's critically important for us to actually secure premium picks in the upcoming 27, 28 and 29 drafts! For players like this!!

This year, with #29, we should grab Broome and call it a day.

Dang! A out Yang! Apparently he's been on that Bruce Lee conditioning diet/ workout plan! Might need to reconsider him for our center board, because if his conditioning is this good, then it speaks to his work ethic and potential.

Re: 2025 Draft & College Hoops
Why if we trade up into the 8-14 range, I'd have CMB as my top pick there. Overall in the 8-14 range of the draft, my top 5 would be:
1- Colin Murray Boyles.
2- Carter Bryant.
3- Egor Demin.
4- Khaman Muluach.
5- Jeremiah Fears ( or whoever drops that fits)??

Re: 2025 Draft & College Hoops
Not a strong defender, but still a very versatile playmaking big in the Jokic mold. That could be a reasonable late 2nd option to consider at center?? Might be a solid compliment to Ighodaro defensively if Oso plays at the 4?

Maxime Raynaud moving out of our range. I could totally see Brooklyn or Atlanta targeting him!

4 of my favorite prospects in the Top 10 for elite cutters. Kalkbrenner, Goldin, Thiero, and Tonje! Awesome!

Without moving up, our top 3 big board should now be:
1- Maxime Raynaud.
2- Rasheer Fleming.
3- Adou Thiero.

Re: 2025 Draft & College Hoops
Honestly considering Minnesota's collapse and their obvious interest in KD around the deadline, I'd do either of these two trades to accomplish our goals!
1- KD/ 29th pick for Randle/ Di Vincenzo/ Dillingham/ Minott/ 17th pick/ 31st pick/ MIN 32' 1st.
https://fanspo.com/nba/s/general/trades/KVe-qjUUmodTep/minnesota-gets-kd-with-ant
OR
2- KD/ 29th pick for Gobert/ Divencenzo/ Dillingham/ 17th pick/ 31st pick/ MIN 32' 1st. https://fanspo.com/nba/trades/SqZ93OkaOrBUd4
OR
https://fanspo.com/nba/s/general/trades/KVe-qjUUmodTep/minnesota-gets-kd-with-ant
Then I'd trade Divencenzo and Dilingham in a package to another team for a guard and more draft picks. Maybe to one of Brooklyn or Orlando for Brooklyn's 19th and 36th picks? Or to Orlando for their 25th and 46th picks and a player.
If we played our cards right, we could walk out of the draft with some combination of: Demin/ Raynaud/ Thiero/ Kalkbrenner or Zisarky (backup center options).
Demin- Giddey.
Raynaud- Sengun/ Gasol.
Thiero- Anunoby.
Kalkbrenner- Brook Lopez.
Or
Zisarky- Gobert.

Duane Rankin:
Izan Almansa, a projected NBA draft pick, recently participated in a pre-draft workout with the Phoenix Suns, showcasing his skills against projected first-round pick Danny Wolf.
Almansa previously withdrew from the 2024 draft after playing for the G League Ignite.
The Phoenix Suns had Wolf and Almansa participate in a pre-draft workout on May 28 at the team’s practice facility with general manager Brian Gregory in attendance.

Wolf wouldn't be bad if playing at the 4 (due to his dynamic versatility) as long as we trade for a strong defensive center like Gobert, Claxton or maybe Adams or Capela?? One's skillset complimenting the other?

Hey Ghost, can you give me a list of 10 guys who are possibly in the range of where we're picking, including a few that might drop and a few who could be rising? Guys I should pay more attention to really

Sure man!

1- Cedric Coward- Rising.
Riser, was originally late 40s-50s' and rising quickly. Might jump our range though.
2- Maxime Raynaud- Rising.
Definitely a riser, started in late 40s to 50s, and might rise slightly outside of our range. Nut would he a steal if on the board at 29.
3- Adou Thiero- Rising.
Definitely has major steal potential in this draft. Currently in the early 30s, but has lottery talent as a defensive playmaker in the Anunoby mold. Even tracs similarly to Anunoby statistically and athletically and in measurements/ physicality.
4- Rasheer Fleming- Sliding.
Definitely very solid but falling a bit and may actually sneak into our range. Would be a very solid backup 4/5 option in the Mcdyess/ Andrew Nicholson mold.
5- Danny Wolf- Sliding.
Danny Wolf is very, very versatile for a 7 footer in the Jokic mold. Known as the Jewish Joker for his very similar style of play. Would be a solid get at 29, but his range is fairly wide currently and he may go.as high as 22, or low as 30.
6- Jo'an Beringer. Sliding (slightly).
Beringer at 6'11 with a 7'5 wingspan and top notch mobility would be a steal for us at backup center. Currently in the early 20s, but could slide to 29, by virtue of how raw he is. He projects along the lines of a Jarrett Allen/ Nik Claxton archetype big.
7- Will Riley- Sliding.
At 6'8-6'9, Riley is a very similar archetype to Cam Johnson. But he's been sliding a bit due to his poor shooting struggles being at around 32% from three. But his form is solid and he has versatility and size at SF/ PF.
8- Ryan Kalkbrenner- Rising.
Kalkbrenner is moving up slowly but surely due to his size and versatility. He's 7'2, mobile and a very similar archetype to Brook Lopez. Currently in the mid to early 30s ranges, but should be available at 29, and would absolutely be a solid defensive backup center for the next decade, if not a starter at some point.
9- Ben Saraf- Sliding a bit.
Saraf at 6'5 is a very adept ball handler and passing savant in the mold of a Goran Dragic and Manu Ginobli type cutter/ ballhandler. But is sliding due his lack of translatable athleticism/ speed.
And his average shooting and concerns over his ability to adapt to the physicality and athleticism of the NBA. he'd still be a very solid get and potential lottery value steal at 29, IF he can translate well to the NBA level athleticism and physicality. Otherwise he could bust! He's the ultimate boom/ bust prospect risk.
10- Kobe Brea- Rising.
Brea is simply the very best at most efficient shooter in the draft and all of college basketball. He started in the late 50s to undrafted ranges, but gas climbed significantly due to the majority of high end talent withdrawing.
Still, he's such a great shooter, that he easily projects very similarly to Klay Thompson as a potential high end starter because his shooting is just that good.
Hidden Gem risers! ( mid to late 2nd extreme value potential steals).
1- Sion James- Rising.
Currently in the 40s, Sion James is as close as you can find to an efficient/ poised mix of Marcus Smart and Lou Dort defensively! He's a power guard/ wing with Lebronesque athleticism too.
2- John Tonje- Rising.
Currently in the mid 40s range but moving up. Tonje is honestly as close as you might find to a statistical/ archetype doppelganger to Devin Booker in almost every aspect including efficiency. His build, athleticism and style of play are also very similar too. He's just surprisingly still flying way under the radar!
3- Vladislav Goldin- Slightly Rising.
Goldin at 7'1 264 lbs is a tough, physical throwback center very much in the Ivaca Zubac mold. And he's physical, dominant and versatile. He'd be an absolute steal as a physical, gritty, journeyman backup center with size.
4- Drake Powell- Rising.
Currently in the late 30s to early 40s. Powell is a very athletic, very tenacious 6'6 wing with a relentless motor and suffocating defense in the Josh Green archetype mold. He plays at a frenetic pace, has a developing smooth jumper, and is likely the best athlete in the entire draft. He's a mix of Matisse Thybulle and Josh Green.
5- Yannick Neiderhauser- Rising.
Currently in the early to mid 40s, and at 7'0 with a 7'3 wingspan and a 37 inch vertical, Neiderhauser is an athletic monster as a rim protecting 3 & D center. Yannick is very much in the Javale McGee/ Jackson Hayes archetype. And has a very solid journeyman backup center/ westside defender projection.
