Thunder defense turning into transition offense, one of the few ways they can actually score, over those last minutes. That’s the RS team again.

A bit? Caruso is the vet and the only one on the team(coach included) that’s been in high pressure games(w the Lakers). He needs to calm them down.

I was thinking the same thing. It seems like Caruso has done just that.
He deserves the first half game ball.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

6 points on 3-9 shooting and zero defense for Murray and MPJ combined in the first half.

Just imagine how bad this game would be if Gordon didn’t decide to tough it out and play on 1 leg.

Denver basically has had 2.5 players for them this game. Jokic, Braun, and Gordon on 1 leg. It would be one thing if Murray, MPJ, Westbrook could make an impact on the defensive end during games like this when they’re negatives on offense. But they’re all really bad defenders. Watson is an okay defender, but he’s horrific on the offensive end.

OKC does a great job of pressuring the ball to make those entry passes tougher. That’s the only way fronting can work

They have been pretty bad when not in those situations though, I agree

Thank you for identifying that. Most Lakers fans will just say, "Jokic sucks" , can't post up properly blah blah.

That s actually true haha. Indianapolis, Minnesota, and Oklahoma City must be three of the whitest cities in the US

Indianapolis is nearly 30% black/AA.

It's not nearly as white as the rest of the country wants to pretend.

Contact Jokic gets is on postups backing down defenders. Modern NBA never calls that. Giannis, Embiid, Sabonis etc all deal with the same thing. As soon as Jokic faces up and attacks he gets calls. As soon as Jokic is in shooting motion he gets calls. None of this is new.

 @ having to rely on Russell Westbrook to win games in 2025. That's why Booth got fired.

MPJ scoring 6 ppg and making max money. Just give him away at this point.

People really on this board saying Jokic is surrounded by great talent.

I mean how great can he be if only has 17 pts 6 Rebs and 3 asts. Against a 68 win historically great team playing with a team who has two players who are playing injured. With no playable bench pieces other than Westbrook and Peyton. Yeah he is not great at all. Man you are easy work

Nuggets not named MPJ are 11/33 in this game.

And A LOT of those are wired open looks. You need talent to win in the Playoffs, and Denver simply doesn't have it.

They are a supporting cast, not the main star. Can't expect them to show up every game, but they have shown up enough times to win the series. Jokic had a string of 3 straight bad games and against this OKC team, is unacceptable

I really don't care if OKC advances.. it's stock down for me. They'll lose to Minny.

C'mon now that's a little crazy lol. SGA is pretty much drawing two defenders every time, sometimes 3. JDub is getting points on deflections, open 3's and closeouts.

He's a good player but Cason Wallace has actually been better than JDub imo.
