There is only two scenarios why this ever went 7 games:

1. The greatness of Jokic.
2. This is an indictment on the Thunder and the regular season really means very little.

This shouldnt have been a competitive series. Denver has no depth.

6 points on 3-9 shooting and zero defense for Murray and MPJ combined in the first half.

Just imagine how bad this game would be if Gordon didn’t decide to tough it out and play on 1 leg.

Denver basically has had 2.5 players for them this game. Jokic, Braun, and Gordon on 1 leg. It would be one thing if Murray, MPJ, Westbrook could make an impact on the defensive end during games like this when they’re negatives on offense. But they’re all really bad defenders. Watson is an okay defender, but he’s horrific on the offensive end.

Yup and that’s only when all 3 are on the court together. The fact that Gordon has had to play 17 minutes in the first half on basically 1 leg. Just goes to show how poor the roster construction is for this team. They don’t have another playable option at the 4.

It was nowhere near a 14 points game, but you can't blink against this team, gonna be one helluva mountain to climb...

If the threes go down according to expectation, this is probably a 20+ point game. If OKC wins they'll have won 5 games this round with the Game 1 blunder. They've made it as hard as possible on themselves.

C'mon now that's a little crazy lol. SGA is pretty much drawing two defenders every time, sometimes 3. JDub is getting points on deflections, open 3's and closeouts.

He's a good player but Cason Wallace has actually been better than JDub imo.

Well, if the expectations that SGA gives you what he gives you every night, then when Williams plays like he's playing tonight, that's what makes OKC a title favorite.
