I hate when game 7s are dusted and done so early in the game

I hate all the ref whining on realgm. Denver's problem in this game isn't the refs and if you're a Nugget fan focusing on the refs you're missing your teams problems.

Or maybe you're just not understanding the subtleties. But wait until your team has to play against this nonsense where you are getting called for touch fouls while Caruso and Dort are allowed to hack and injure players and its not even a foul most of the time. Maybe just ask Ja Morant what he thinks about their great "defense".

I'm curious what can they realistically do to improve the team?

Guys like Murray and MPJ just don't have a lot of value. Braun has developed into a pretty good player, but he doesn't make a lot of money. It's hard to see a path for significant improvement with this roster.

Cutting WB would be a great start.

It was hard for me to watch him even as an MVP. He would’ve been an amazing decathlete. Basketball player, not so much.

If only all the Nuggets brought the AG and Braun mentality to this game.

Jokics help this game has not been good, but man his defense is absolutely horrible. Is he simply not trying or is it just this bad

In fairness, defending Jokic is taking up most of his attention and energy.

The Nuggets taking the Thunder to a game 7, considering the circumstances surrounding the franchise since the last week of the regular season is a win. I'd give them an A+ for their performance this playoffs. So many exciting games they've played (14 in total). Now your starting forwards are both injured and yet, neither has sat out a game. I have nothing but respect and admiration for this team not packing it in against the Clippers.

Them not packing it in means their on court leadership is fine and they probably don't need to switch coaches. They absolutely however need a great GM. Like whoever who will be doing the moves this offseason needs to be screened like a Supreme Court Judge before a single transaction is made.

Well, Denver usually promotes from within and there was an article earlier in the week that said their former assistant GM, Ben Tenzer, is the frontrunner, so I don't expect anyone from outside the org to get the job. We'll see what Tenzer can do in the role.

What did everyone expect? It was miraculous it got to game 7. Let the narratives about Jokic begin though.

They won’t because they won’t ever move on from either Murray or Porter Jr like they feel they owe it to them cause they drafted them and they helped them win a ring. Even if KD said he wanted to play in Denver I don’t know if Denver would do absolutely everything to make it happen.

This type of loyalty should only be owed to Jokic

Bucks got a few players they should’ve been moved on from but have kept them probably because they were on the title team. But some of these front offices do some dumb things. Like give Beal a supermax and NTC or pay Jalen Green and Andrew Wiggins large contracts. Or give Holiday an extension before even winning a ring.

Riley seems to be the only guy who knows how to be ruthless when it’s necessary. Everybody else has this “well we can’t lose him for nothing”

Hate that a blowout means Russ can statpad his way to a respectable game.
