Why does it matter if he gets the block before the foul? It's still a foul.

Their problem is they aren't good enough. We talk teams choking but a lot of times the issue is talent differential. OKC is way better than Denver. Going into tonight's game OKC outscored by 5.3 which is a lot for a 7 game series.

Mixed feelings about this. Exciting to see IND, MN, NY or OKC win a championship, but this makes MN's chances that much harder. The Wolves have the Nuggets number. I can see OKC dismantling the Wolves in the same manner.

It's sad seeing Denver going out like this.
Draft Nate Wolters - FAILED
Keep Nate Wolters - FAILED

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Not sure what people want from Adelman, AG and MPJ are injured, he needs to play the bench quite a bit, and with Murray being so anonymous and AG hobbled Denver had no chance no matter what rotation he used.

99% guarantee it's an internal promotion. Their last three or four GM's have all been internal promotions. Maybe before that, too, but that's as far back as I know. Internal = cheap.

They actually had Ujiri (good) and let him walk for money, Connelly (good) and let him walk for money, and Booth (also good, imo) and let him go, apparently because of a personality clash with Malone. It's hard to imagine this string of genius-level internal hires could continue, but I guess we'll find out.

If you’re a Nuggets fan you should want OKC to run up the score. Otherwise management will think, “at least we took #1 team to game 7”, “Give Adelman a full season” or if “MPJ/Gordon were healthy” are the solutions and run it back next year w/o any changes.

I don't think KD is the answer. They need to give Watson and Strawther a full season of reps, and they'll be strong contributors. Find one more guy after that, and hope for better health, and the Nuggets team will be right back in the championship mix. Hell, they're close this year, with Jokic and Gordon alone.

I hate all the ref whining on realgm. Denver's problem in this game isn't the refs and if you're a Nugget fan focusing on the refs you're missing your teams problems.

Or maybe you're just not understanding the subtleties. But wait until your team has to play against this nonsense where you are getting called for touch fouls while Caruso and Dort are allowed to hack and injure players and its not even a foul most of the time. Maybe just ask Ja Morant what he thinks about their great "defense".

Dude, Denver's problem isn't the refs in this game. They have 70 million devoted to guys who are borderline rotatio players for OKC. That's Denver's problem.

If you're a Nugget fan thinking "boy we would have won but for those bastard refs" instead of "the talent on this roster is too low" you're going to excuse your team's awful management.

Of course the refs arent their MAIN problem or their ONLY problem. Some is mismanagement other things are just bad luck like the gordon injury. Jokic is really the only player and everyone in that gym knows it. Now if on top of that you decide to let Caruso constantly hack that only player left its just BS. The entire OKC defense is predicated on hacking grabbing and hand checking. I cant recall seeing so one sided officiating in recent history. Its not so unlikely the knicks run into that; be sure i'll remind you then.
