Optimal result for OKC, battle tested now and likely will keep getting better in the next 2 rounds

It’s a weird decision… Jokic has better stats, but a less complete team.

The NBA has changed for building a team. Why dynasties have died is because of the new CBA and building a team of young athletic players over a top-heavy roster has become the norm in the NBA now.

The Morey idea is dead. You can’t just slap 3-4 all star / hof players together and expect 3-4 rings. You need quantity over quality now.

Do you guys think game 7’s should be super early like this? I’ve always hated it and feel like it gives teams an advantage. Maybe not today of course, but i just think it’s weird because we rarely have these early games to begin with.

Wait they played gordon even though he had a grade 2 hammy?

Thats **** malpractice.

Jokic showed up in the first half, as did Braun and an injured AG.

Murray and MPJ should never again be mentioned as legitimate “help” to an all time great. One great run doesn’t make a great 2nd option.
So what was your excuse last year?

This team has come up short the past 2 years with the best player in the world. Maybe Jokic needs to get serious about winning more championships and ask out?

Uhh…which ATG except Jordan won it every year after their first ring?

Now which of them had 0 all star teammates?

Lebron got criticism every year for coming up short.

Sorry nobody feels sorry for Jokic. If you are the best player in the world the expectations are championship every year.

If you want to throw a parade for a guy getting blown out in the 2nd Rd by all means throw your party. I'm not praising anyone who loses. Denver loss tonight as a team point blank.

This part of the game isn't even real basketball. (Applies if they play well, too. )

Anyway, I only vouch for Pickett, not the other two.

Nah, Denver's problem is they aren't a good team. Management was blessed with an ATG and made one shrewd move to build around him (Gordon).

Other than that the talent on this roster isn't close to a good team.

Not a good team? Really? They won 50 games, beat the Clippers in a series and took the Thunder to 7. If they're not good, who's good?

I wouldn't consider the 09/10 Cavs good teams either. IF they don't have Jokic I'm not sure they push 30 wins.

Building a good team actually involves building talent around an ATG not just getting lucky in the draft once.

Someone said he has decent stats on 9 shots today

9 shots when down 30 is kind of wild. I’m not gonna put the entire blame on him, but I have never seen a player who could not do one thing wrong

Jokic played like a pussy. If they want to fight instead of play give them focking war.

Grow up. People need to teach you manners I see. But I agree Jokic didn’t take over he is the best player in the. World and didn’t play up to his standards.

No excuses needed, those are only made by LeBron fans

Jokic remains the best player in the world. Let’s see if the Nuggets can reload with the right people or we’re seeing another prime wasted.

Denver will be fine, still a playoff team and just a tier below the Thunder, Wolves, maybe Rockets next season but definitely better than the Lakers, Clippers and the likes.

I just dont agree with this at all. Aaron Gordon was incredible all series until the injury. Jamal Murray runs hot and cold but had brilliant moments against a team with 4 different all-defense level guards. MPJ was injured. Christian Braun is legit.

This team doesn't have depth. They only have 6-7 rotation level players. They took a 68-win(!) team with arguably the best defense ever(!) to 7 games before running out of gas.

People have been whining all playoffs long, but this was a really good series with some incredible performances. Denver is really good.

Yeah, I'm very much pro-Denver, but from a neutral perspective, this was a classic-quality series.

Building a competitive team in the WC is insanely hard. Just ask the Suns who were clearly behind the curve.

Every single conference finals team got there because of injuries somewhat. Knicks didn’t at all because they were whooping the Celtics with Tatum
