and Denver only down 2 right now lol. Jokic is brilliant. Might go down as the GOAT center.

I always loved Caruso but I didn't anticipate him being the second best player on the floor for OKC in a game 7
Then again if he was a hornet he'd already have five fouls called against him.
Nuggets simply have no answer for his ball pressure and how they're defending Joker. Unless Murray goes on a heater soon I don't see how this stays close in the second half.

I mean if the refs are going to allow OKC to defend like this on the perimeter then there's nothing you can do. Just non-stop hacks.

Denver never had a chance. I'm more shocked they made it to a game 7. OKC just had way more depth at the end of the day.

had game 5 and **** the bed. but yeah, one team has Great depth. Team has absolutely no depth. And again if the reps are going to allow OKC to aggressively hand check 30 feet from the basket denver was never going to survive that. They don't have the guards to punish that type of defense.

I feel bad for Joker. But it will be fun having four teams in the semifinals with three of them having never won the championship and the Knicks last having done it in 1973.

I guess I will be pulling for OKC over Minnesota but it might be one of those series where I don't really know who I'm rooting for until I start watching.

i saw a clip the other day where someone went to drive past Dort who just gave him a forearm shiver to the chest as he's going past, clearly knocks him backwards. No call.

its ridiculous. why do the good defenders and players get advantage like that.

two things can be true
- okc is elite defensively, relentless from all angles, everyone in the rotation is good/great
- the refs let them get away with murder up top

okc is elite defensively and i wasn't meant to be taking a shot at them in particular, just at the NBA in general as its a common theme.

i remember lebron in his younger years, during a game they were saying how elite he was defensively, then shoe replays where he continually was allowed to use his huge build to illegally bump people and stop their drives.

its no wonder they call crack it when they are called for something

Sorry, my reply wasn't directed at you. My reply was just in general. I didn't want to sound like I was blaming the refs. Okc see has an amazing defense. But they also got away with murder in the past few games.

Ah it's "Giannis might want to be traded so you WILL end up sending him to my team for pick 14, a future first and a pick swap" season on the trade board.

Has anyone seen the Knicks fans throwing rubbish at the Pacers fan after they beat Boston. That's made me an Indiana fan against the Knicks. No class and I hope the Pacers beat them again.

It's always nuts to me that anyone would take sports to that level, whether it's a soccer hooligans or the drunk idiots in the nosebleeds of NFL games trying to fight anyone that shows up in an opposing jersey. I did see that Halliburton is paying for that fan to come to one of the games in Indiana and sit courtside

some of the soccer is linked to history and religion.

Aussie rules has it a bit, Victorians especially seem more angry/passionate. Seen some real head scratching behaviour by fans for absolutely no reason. It's meant to be entertainment and fun, not actual war

I'm from England and I go to the football games in the Premier league and years ago I've seen some real bad soccer violence with police horses etc.

It's stupid really because it was a local derby and I work with these people but on a Saturday afternoon they just turn into something else entirely.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, we didn't have a very good start to the year but we changed our coach and had a really good end to the year

Every player on OKC would be our best defender.

OKC defenders get away with so much contact on the defensive end. Then on the other end if Shai is touched it is a foul, at least 4-5 fouls last night were terrible and would have been wrong on a two minute report.

Then OKC is constantly reaching in, slapping at ball, tons of lower body contact vs the ball handler and its considered great defense.
