Read on Twitter

Warner was the last major contract to deal with and fortunately his was probably going to be the easiest to get done.

Nice to finally have an offseason without contract drama, holdouts, trade no trade, etc.

kinda why I wanted Trev Henderson or even Skatt, I see both as being really, really good situationally for us

Guerendo is a curious one because maybe it was just me but I did think he started to get a better feel of things the more carries he got in a game. But I don't see him ever being a feature back and I suspect he might replace Deebo in the plays we handed the ball off to him.

What we really need is a guy that can be a legit receiving threat. That's what makes CMC so impactfully on this offense is that he's respected as a threat in the passing game and forces defenses to pay attention to him.

Defenses basically ignored the RB on passing downs and that killed us because it wouldn't suck up the LBs to open up the middle of the field where Shanahan's passing game does a majority of it's work. Part of that I'll put on Purdy for simply not throwing it to the RB but the issue has been around for years so it seems like Shanahan only trusts CMC to be a receiving threat.

If I remember correctly Guerendo did pretty well catching the ball
Just looking at stats he was targeted 16 times with 15 catches. I feel like I remember some good receptions on his part as well

He played WR in high school and has good hands.
