I feel like the Knicks owe us a playoff share. We got them loose and playing hard-nosed ball.

It'll certainly be interesting to see what happens in the Indy/NY ECF. Feels like New York should be slight favorites. Indy winning the East would be like worst case for me just because I can't stand Haliburton.... but I think after watching our series with the Knicks Brunson also in my top 5 most disliked NBA players with him foul bating like 2018 James Harden out there so might be a lose/lose. Also think ANT is great but he's got a huge EGO. I think most likely NBA champion is whoever wins the OKC/DEN game 7.

Winner of OKC/Denver game 7 = 50% chance they are NBA champions
20% Minny
18% Knicks
12% Pacers

Those are my odds for NBA champions this year.

Was something said about Stews injury that I missed?

I thought he was day to day.

It’s hard to imagine him not coming into the new season at full strength.

I got Indy going all the way. This entire post-season has been bonkers but TOR, DEN and MIL were all surprise champions in recent memory and Cavs will attest; it doesn't matter what you did in the regular season. It's about being healthy and peaking at the right time.

Indy was also like the 4th best team since Jan 1st (I think we were 5th unless we dropped late season).

1. OKC
2. BOS
3. CLE
4. INDY
5. GSW

So if Denver ends up winning game 7 then Indy will have the best record of any team remaining in the final four since Jan 1st.

Indy has been impressive and has played really well as a team moving the ball around... and they have more depth than most. That depth could end up being a difference maker but I think 1-5 the Knicks clearly have more talent. Indy does have a much better bench and likely a better coach.

I'd take Indy over the Knicks at this point too. West is too hard to pick, but winner out there is probably the favorite in the finals still, imo.

It's crazy. OKC is clearly the better/deeper team and it's not even close...and yet the Nuggets have a legit shot at moving on. No disrespect to SGA...but we all know who the true MVP is.

Too bad about Gordon.. I wanted both teams at full strength and whoever wins, wins, but I'll be rooting for Denver.

And why does Denvers coach remind me so much of Alfred E. Neuman?

Denver 4-21 from 3... They're going to keep shooting them, despite not taking full advantage of Caruso on Jokic. Give Alex a ton of credit. Wish he was a Piston!

I find it odd that OKC-Denver has to play Tuesday against Minny, despite finishing after The East, only giving them one day off in between Game 7 and Game 1.

Knicks
Pacers
Thunder
Timberwolves

Only the Pacers are locked in- and of these the Nuggets still have a semi-okay chance, but that would be a WILD group. It speaks to the fact that maybe there is parity in the NBA after all. The Knicks and Thunder (as the Sonics) haven't won a championship since the 70s. The Wolves and Pacers have NEVER won an (NBA) championship.

Looked slightly questionable for a minute there, but yep, this is what we've got.

And I think it's cool. One way or another someone who hasn't won a championship in at least 46 years is going to win one this year.
