He's going to win MVP because he's the best player on the best team and NBA MVP voting is severely flawed in that regard. SGA disappeared for long stretches multipole times in this series, and yet OKC still seemed to always have the lead or at the very least it was a close game. That's because SGA's supporting cast is far superior to anything Joker could even dream of.

But make no mistake about it, Jokic is hands-down the best basketball player in the world, AND the most valuable to his team. And it's really not close. Nobody means more to their team than the Joker.

It went to game 7 by design. Haven’t you realized how much support OKC has gotten ever since the under 25 crowd became infatuated with Shais “aura”.

He’s so obviously being coddled by the league to please the new generation of fans and keep them memeing and invested in the sport.

They don’t give a damn about real ball which is why jokic can get hounded like a prisoner all series long and only get 25% of the calls he should’ve gotten.

Hopefully the “aura bowl WCF” is a smash hit on tik tok. Silver got what he wanted that’s for sure.

Not sure why people destroying the nuggets, they were the walking wounded walking into a buzzsaw, the thunder did exactly what a 68 win team should do in a game 7.

Prime Curry as well. Denver is low key a good team. Despite the constant bashing of everyone not named Jokic.

Prime Lebron had a super team and played with 2 hofers to lost to the Mavs. OFC is a better team and the Heat were way more talented to then this Nuggets team.

You're only cognizant of when jokic passes and teammates brick and notbwhen sga passed and his teammates bricked today.

Typical.

SGA closed out game 4 on the road and then game 5 in spectacular fashion. AND outplayed jokic in game 7.

Keep crying. Its just sour grapes at this point.

Braun is a good improving young payer that might reach borderline star status. He is Jaylen Brown light version. He even showed signs of creating of the dribble, something he never had prior to this season. Dude brings something new every year and always plays his heart out. He is one of Denvers few good guys.

What? He’s more Bruce Brown than he is to Jaylen Brown. His whole game is predicated on playing off Jokic. I also think you’re over valuing his ability to create off the dribble, he had a decent handle and can get by defenders, but it’s not as hard when you’re the last guy defenses account for. He’s a decent role player, nothing more nothing less.

Everyone on the Nuggets is predicated on playing off Jokic. Braun is the only one beside Jokic and Gordon who is committed to improving his game, playing hard on both sides of the floor and reducing his mistakes. Dude is a great athlete, has a great motor, has decent awareness, hes a tough young man that improved his handle and his shooting and plays good man and team defense. Whats not to like?

He might not be a surefire star prospect but he is a good, versatile starter swingman in the 3nD mold that could improve to become a threat of the dribble. Thats a great young player easily worth north of 20 million a year in the current NBA.

No one's crying dummy  . Disagreeing with someone doesn't mean they're "crying." By that logic, you're crying by responding to my post in disagreement (see show stupid that is).

Jokic is the best and most valuable player in the world whether you like it or not. And it's really not close. It's okay to admit that.

Jokic knows he can't win with this roster. And they have no real way of improving it due to the atrocious contracts they handed out to Murray and MPJ.

He really needs to pull a Lebron and demand out, but he's loyal to a fault, much like KG was to the Timberwolves. Really tough situation for him.

Only 2 things worse than having a Max player who isn't worth it:

A.) Having an injury-prone Max player who isn't worth it, and

B.) Having a delusional Max player who isn't worth it.

Murray is both.

I've seen this posted so many times, and its dishonest without including games played, since it's raw totals. Jokic has played 14 playoff games, which is 2-3 more than anyone else. Jokic is not even top 10 in points per game in these playoffs. He doesn't lead any of these other categories per game either.

Jokic has earned the best player in the league title and I don't think he did anything to take that away, but the stat-hunting to justify it feels like a "lady doth protest too much" ordeal.

I like how he mentioned Scott Foster and the other ref in a way that wont get him fined. Hes saying thngs without saying them. "Basically the same as game 2" and we know what happened there.

I wrote it almost every game. The result depends on wether Murray and MPJ show up, and wether the refs will continue to allow OKC to constantly foul on defense and call only every fourth or fifth foul. Some guys kept trashing Joker and hyping up this train wreck of a roster, like Murray would be a legit #2. Well as expected, spursNani and all the others are gone and dont come back to comment on those stupid takes.

Yea he played through it. Kudos to him for trying to tough it out, but clearly wasn't himself though. Was mostly going half-speed. Couldn't sprint and couldn't lift like he normally does.
