How does AD have anywhere near good value after breaking down again after the trade?

I'm guessing its his really high level of play still when he does play?
That's got to be the theory. I mean OTOH I don't think he holds nearly as much trade value as his play warrants because of injury and contract. OTOH he was the centerpiece for a player this board would almost unanimously have as top 5 and most higher than that.
But teams will always talk themselves into trading for elite players even with risk because they are so rare. Dallas isn't going to trade him, because that would be admitting the Luka trade was a mistake. And while Donnie and Cuban were willing to do that, no change Harrison/Vegas are.
But if they were to trade him, they would get something really good. Because he's still that good of a player.

AD, despite his injury history, still worth more than this trade package

Bulls pass. Don't see the point of adding a 32-year-old to this group. Coby's not great, but he's young and improving. They don't need to be trading down or trading future picks.
