Aaron Gordon To Attempt To Play Through Hamstring Strain In Game 7

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun May 18, 2025 7:28 pm

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon will start for his team in Game 7 at the Oklahoma City Thunder. Gordon is playing, despite suffering a Grade 2 hamstring injury in the Nuggets Game 6 victory.

A Grade 2 hamstring injury usually takes several weeks to heal. Gordon is attempting to play despite the severity of the injury.

This brings into question, again, how much time these guys take off for injuries. If Gordon can play through a Grade 2 hamstring strain, why can't the majority of NBA players, or pro athletes as a whole, do the same?

It’s game 7. You aren’t going to play hurt in a meaningless regular season game
