I legit can't with Jokic's PR machine. It is **** ridiculous at this point.
Does he have dirt on the league or on the reporters? Do his brothers go behind the scenes and threaten everyone to post these things?

People are now legit saying that his legacy is impenetrable after these playoffs...

The playoffs in which he averaged 26/12/8 on 58 TS% with bad defense. The playoffs in which if his teammates had not stepped up in massive ways, they would have lost in like 5 games, two times over.

But let's also not forget to address that his teammates are trash, bums, worst in the league and that he still has not played with any all-star player. Also he is obviosuly the best ever with peak comparable to Lebron and Curry because he took this trash roster on 7 games against the OKC.

Let's not say anyhting about his stats against OKC...
If we exclude his 2 monster games against them, the rest of that 7 game series, he averaged 22/12/6 on 40/22/80 shooting and 53 TS%, but sure, he carried that roster.

And all these subpar appearances (for him) against which defenders? Zubac, Hartenstein and Caruso?

And then you have people like Bill Simmons saying this before the series agaisnt the Clippers concluded:
“The Nuggets losing to the Clippers would actually make me feel better about this Jokic MVP vote.” and then
“The Nuggets have pushed the Thunder to 7, it makes me feel even better about this MVP vote. Matter of fact, he’s better than prime LeBron.”...

Like... Which is it?

And then you have **** like this being posted:

Read on Twitter
[/quote]

Of course he leads everyone in total stats, he's an MVP caliber player that has played the most games out of anyone in the playoffs so far!! It's not an insane run!!

Don't mind their style, don't like them. Like it's not personality-driven either. Thought it might be Caruso, but it goes deeper than that.

The heart doesn't want what it doesn't want.

Things I want too happen:
1) The T-Wolves get introduced at home with the opening of "1999" playing.
2) Ant Man puts an end to this SGA foolishness.
3) Chris Fitch holds court during the post-game presser on the desirability of walkable neighborhoods.
4) Dino (my mom calls him that so suffer a-long with me) hallucinates he's wearing Villanova blue and finds the spirit 25' and out.
5) Lauren Jbara really gets into the Twin-tone era of The Replacements.

I could absolutely see the wolves beating OKC. It will be the best defense OKC has seen so far this post-season, and Ant could absolutely outplay SGA.

Honestly, I kind of expect Ant to be the best player in the series.

I think a lot of this seasons' analysis of OKC is gonna look silly when they romp their way to a title, and at this point it's what I'm expecting to happen. Been the best team by a landslide all season, and unlike Boston last year, they actually have an MVP type player and already had to face tougher competition than anything the Celtics had to go through in all four rounds of their title run. You can say because of their youth/inexperience that they still have difficulties closing out games in the 4th, sure. But they're us in 2019 or 2020, except without a juggernaut Raptors team or a "world-wide pandemic shutting down all of society" to stop them.

Yea, I was talking about this a few days ago with a Knicks fan and a MN fan. Trying to make my list. Normally, the big city NY would be scratched. But in this case all I could come up with is anyone but Indy. After that, I'm really fine with anyone and can't really choose. I'd probably take OKC if I absolutely had to choose, but Knicks winning would be an entertaining sight to see. Heck, even them winning this round would be entertaining as hell.

Getting my time machine and going back to the end of September to bet OKC, Minny, Indy and NY in the conference finals.

Easily rooting for the Knicks. I love Thibs.

I hope we get a Knicks Wolves Finals. Conley deserves a shot at a ring more than just about any player in the league.

I'd probably root for the Wolves and white Donte if a good majority of their fans weren't also Vikings fans. Do I want to see them happy? Nope. Am I that petty? Yes.

Wolves/Knicks is what I want to see, with the Wolves winning it all. To be fair, Indiana has balled out this entire Playoffs. They've caught some luck, but also brought pressure to damn near every game thus far. They've certainly worked for it, despite my firm belief that with the most basic competence of coaching, the Bucks would have beat them in 6.

Hoping for 3 more Game 7's to finish this thing off.

NY/IND is gonna be a slugfest of 7 games.

I think Wolves beat OKC in 6 and Ant vaults into Top-5 player conversations without much dissent.

Denver starting to enter their post championship Milwaukee era. Welcome to the new CBA!

Read on Twitter

Sell Giannis on other teams beginning to enter their fire sale. Bucks roster already went through it and can now plan on the other side. Capitalize on teams needing to shed salary and do drastic things to dip the 2nd apron. The stars like Giannis and Jokic are the constants you can continue to build and re-tool around. People act like we need to move Giannis because it's the end of an era, but the new CBA doesn't really allow for long-term success (dynasties), so try and tinker with the roster around your main guy and see if you can hit on new revolving pieces around him. Would help if we had a competent coach to put it all together though...

Giving Braun a Suggs type contract is insanity. But this is why I think they might bite on a Kuzma + Pat for MPJ deal.

Givony reporting that Philly is looking to attach the #3 pick to Paul George to acquire a 3rd star...but we're supposed to believe we should be happy to receive the #2 pick and **** all else for Giannis? Lol
