idk if there's another player in the league that can make that play.

certainly not a big.

and yes, i know evan mobley is DPOY.

Promise you Mobley stinks, watching this guy that last series, I could not understand the hype.

he is really skilled defensively. i was impressed with him all regular season. shame he got hurt in that series. looked like he was still fighting through it.

but my point was he never had the same ground coverage and lateral quickness as mitch. still, amazing defender all around. deserved DPOY from what i saw. big reason for the cavs high win total.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

Like I said I wanted to see how Mitch would play with Kat first before deciding what to do with them.

And surprise surprise they work together. Mitch is basically our Gobert. He is critical for our defense. Offensively yea he is lacking and healthwise I wish he was healthier but overall I am content.

even after winning game 6 by damn near 40, there were only 3 rotation players who were a positive vs the celtics in the series

brunson was +9
duece was +16
and mitch was +46

Extend Mitch and Mikal this off-season and keep this train going. Give ourselves a couple of cracks at the chip and we may just break through one day...

Mitch was our trade deadline acquisition. Cleveland got Hunter and we got Mitch Robinson.

That reminds me...it still irks me the Hawks handed over Hunter for spare parts and a bag of balls, the Knicks never get that type of deal. I think Hart is the only time I can recall them getting an impact player for scraps.

I guess you aren't counting free agents but we can thank Dallas for Brunson.

josh Hart obviously was obtained at a very friendly price, but the reality is that he wasn't anyone special until he got to NY.
Bridges we over-paid for
Towns -- if it were not for Luka, and Randle's post injury resurgence, would have been the lopsided trade of the century.
OG -- pretty even deal.

Cleveland made a nice trade. Both teams got what they wanted I guess but in the end it didn’t help the Cavs move the needle.

Honestly, it was up to Mitch to either show up big this year in the Playoffs or kiss NYC goodbye. He stepped up.

They spent over a year rebuilding Mitch's body to restore his athletic mobility and to make him less prone to injury.

He was very top-heavy before and that would stress his lower extremites. Now he is more toned and well-balanced physically.

This is essentially what the Knicks did with Mitch after Embiid tried to twist his foot off:

Yes. They jacked up the suspension, strung up LED lights, mounted a spitoon to the driver's side mirror, added rotating rims and now the muffler does double duty as a bong.

As for mitch, I didnt think he had any juice left after all the injuries. Great to see him dominating playoff rounds again. And looking forward to him doing it in the next series.
