Ayo/PWill/JSmith for MPJ

Den badly needs cheap depth, and this deal does it

Chi has a lot of depth and needs starters
White/Ball
Giddey/Huerter
MPJ/Phillips
Matas/#12
Vuc/Collins
Terry/JCarter for deep bench

I like Ayo more than most non-Bulls fans, but I think it would be hard for Denver to justify moving MPJ, eating a worse contract, and not getting a single surefire starter in return.

Sure, I understand but they save $ here too (I think about $8 million, which is a lot more with lux tax savings)
Bulls could add Phillips too-an ok bench piece

PW is the big blocker for me here. He's a 9th/10th man making good starter money and his contract extends longer than MPJ's. If you replace him with Huerter I could see Denver being interested but then Chicago probably isn't.

The Bulls have a lot of depth to win 39 games and barely sneak into the play in. DEN just lost their chance at the WCFs, a bunch of play in Bulls bench players is not their path to the Finals, and they know it, so should you
