Kings-Nuggets

Post#1 » by zimpy27 » Mon May 19, 2025 8:47 am

Kings get Murray, MPJ
Murray, Monk, Murray, MPJ, Sabonis

Nuggets get LaVine, DeMar
LaVine, Braun, DeMar, Gordon, Jokic

I think this balances both sides. Denver get more playmaking and Kings get more shooting. Denver save $12m.

I'd keep it smaller...
MPJ/Nnaji/Saric for LAvine

DEN loses size and rebounding, but Lavine is more consistent and versatile than MPJ.

K.Murray + DDR to Denver
MPJ + D.Holmes to Sacto

J.Murray-Braun-DDR-Gordon-Jokic
RW-Strawher-Watson-K.Murray
Denver become deeper

Sacto takes a look at injured rookie Holmes, and become younger with switch MPJ-DDR

Denver loses more size and reboundijg in your trade than OP. Murray-Braun-LaVine-Gordon-Jokic.

I'm not sure if Sac would prefer that over OP anyway, but keen to hear.

Yeah, that's what I was saying...
For Sac, it's more flexible, if Murray backfires, it's one costly contract to have...

Murray to the Blazers for Simmons/Grant/draft compensation is also worth exploring...
Blazers get a lead guard and get out of Grant's contract, Nuggets get some lethal shooting backcourt of Simmons/Lavine and 2 forwards in Grant and Gordon.

Not sure if Denver would be better or worse, but this would definitely shake things up.

I don't think they have the guts to move both of those guys. At least in the same trade.
