A shorthanded Nuggets team wouldn't have had much of a chance to beat the Wolves. As for a potential finals matchup the difference is not going to be vast IMO. We'll be facing defensive bigs in Gobert or Hartenstein along with a superstar level scorer in the backcourt in SGA and Edwards along with Williams or Randle as second options at the forward position.
OKC will throw Dortz, Caruso at Brunson.
Minny will throw McDaniels, Conley, Edwards at Brunson.
I actually think McDaniels is the most problematic matchup for Brunson as JB seems to struggle more against long and great defenders than shorter ones. Even if the Nuggets would have won yesterday they wouldn't have made it past the Wolves with that injury situation.
