I had hoped to see Bradley get the spot...but this signing tells me they aren't so sure. His injuries are certainly a factor.

I'm hearing Liverpool and Frimpong are talking a 5-year deal. That's not someone showing up to "fight for a spot". Yes, they're all fighting for a spot...but you know what I mean. I haven't seen much of him at all....but I've heard his name a ton in the last couple months. So sounds like Liverpool got their guy. Great news. Conner's gonna have to step it up, if he wants to see the pitch.

Lastly....it's worth mentioning in light of my last couple posts...that I find it amusing how Liverpool fans have absolutely ZERO issue when a player leaves his old team to come here...and theoretically chase his dream. That's all....I won't expand on it. You just gotta love fans. =0)

He can also be a backup for Salah on the RW, he is like a young Bale. Winger or wingback with speed, crossing.
Salah will need to rest sometime.

Yeah, he can play as an extremely attacking RB with great recovery pace or cover for Salah as a winger to chase balls and give backlines nightmares (though without the world class finishing). I like him a lot. Didn't see us targeting him. Wonder if we'll still chase Kerkez, who also likes to bomb forward, or go for a hybrid CB/LB to offer some balance.
It's time for 5 refs.

There are many good wingers who can score goals like Gakpo, Diaz or healthy Jota in the middle. Crossing/assists will be needed after the decline of Robertson, Trent not running down the right and putting in the best crossing/long passing in the world. Creativity i feel is bigger gap to fill. Jota, Nunez can replaced by a good striker easier.

Sounds as if the Frimpong deal is in it's closing stages.

We'll certainly see a different sort of RB:

If the club is actually going to spend big, then this is the route needed:

Per Paul Gorst (@ptgorst):

Arne Slot on Dominik Szoboszlai starting as a deeper midfielder tonight:

"He is playing as an eight, with Ryan as a six, with Harvey a bit more forward. I think Dominik sees his best position as an eight."

If true, you can see why the club is linked with 10's such as Wirtz, Simons, and Cherki.

I wish Nunez would have worked out. He seems like a great guy, has a good attitude, and when it does all come together, he's quite a talent. But unfortunately, this just hasn't worked. I wish him well in the Saudi league...and I hope we get a huge sum for him. Will help us tremendously...unlike someone...

Sorry...that just came to me, and I had to do it. I've moved on, I swear!

I see the squad can't be bothered the last few games. Don't know that I blame them. We're champs...so screw it. They did the work early, so they could cruise at then end. Looking forward to next weekend. Will be great to watch.

What was ever the motivation once they won the league?

We've seen plenty of photos of players celebrating in Dubai and even Slot in Ibiza.

These last few matches are nothing more than a walkthrough.

If Wirtz leaves this summer, hopefully he ends up in Liverpool. Don't want another decade where Bayern wins the title after 27 games every season and I don't want him at City. I don't think Leverkusen will sell him for much less than the 150 mil. € price tag.

Wirtz is an incredible player and my faith is in Arne to make him fit with this team. I have to imagine we'll be doing no defending next season.
It's time for 5 refs.

Statement signing if it's true.

I'll be honest, the recent rejections (Caicedo, Lavia and Zubimendi) were taking its toll.

With Wirtz, the creativity previously provided by TAA, is covered.

Don't watch German Football. What is his game like? Need a scouting report.

Edit: His highlights are impressive. I hope it works out.
