I'm not a fan of Ant Edwards' smirk and that very confident personality bordering on arrogance but if he leads his team to the Finals, with EFFICIENT scoring like 27pts, 50%, 6 assists with minimal turnovers then he will be the new face of the league.

They just put on the screen total points.

One thing that is different about the NBA than NFL, MLB and NHL is how much the culture of the NBA revolves around per game stats rather than totals.
That isn't the case for most of the stats in the other American sports.

Please stop with "new face of the league" BS. That moniker was given to players like LeBron, Kobe, Duncan etc because they were ALWAYS in the mix for the championship.

Ant hasn't even been to the finals yet, and in this new parity league, don't bet on him to have a similar level of dominance as those previous stars.

I always advocated for the scoring champion to be the leader in total points.

I do believe Target center is West of the Mississippi. Now, if you are from NYC, the only inhabitable West is Jerseys. So, we are covered

I grew up tri-state area. And for some people there America's most important river is the Hudson. I used to live in Minnesota for half a decade and I probably would have died out there but for the **** Great Recession bankrupting me. Anyway when I say western US I was referring to the PST/MWT.

I don't even think Duncan was the face of the NBA. Face of the NBA to me is as much a marketing term as it is a basketball term. To be face of the NBA you need to be among the best players and super marketable to casual fans.

Duncan was similar to Kareem. Both had many years as MVP caliber players but they were never really marketable to fans.
