He's their short yardage back. Mr. Wildcat is his nickname.

That's what I thought, he never really looked like a qb in college.

I agree that it shouldn’t be banned. If you don’t like the play then figure out how to stop it. Also learn how to use it effective draft players that can run it. It’s not like the Eagles are the only team allowed to run the play.

6 on 2, which side is going to win?

defense can't stack all their perimeter players in the box.

Strange that they prohibit certain formations but allow this one.

Honestly, I don’t really care anymore. I don’t think it should be banned but if it’s banned then whatever. The pushing part of the players behind the QB isn’t even the most important part of the play, it’s more of a last resort thing if the QB is stopped short.

The OL is the most important part. Other teams have tried and failed but they don’t have their QB that is capable of squatting 600lbs running behind Landon Dickerson and Jordan mailata.

The closest situation that is similar (that is banned) is on field goals. Offenses are not allowed to stack the middle of the line on field goals but are allowed on the tush push. Why is it banned in 1 situation but not the other.

It will be banned at some point. The league eventually will see that it does.
