OKC is 4-1 in those games and the only loss was in OT.

Lot of cushion there.

Isn't this simply because he shot poorly while they swept a weak Memphis team?

Three of those wins were vs Memphis.

They were 0-1 when he shot under 40% vs Denver, and of course today you also have 11/14 FT with 9 assists and 2 turnovers, so I mean I'm not sure focusing on FG% is telling us much in this one.

Memphis -- with the #6 offense and the #10 defense -- is weak? Even without Ja they can be tough.

Not every team has the #22 defense like Denver does.

Point stands.

Not every fan is saying it, only the ones getting owned by SGA.

SGA was 2/13 in the first half of G1 against MIN and OKC was down 4.

That's a cushion.

Only 4 teams left lol. Most convos will be Indiana/OKC/Minnesota/NYK based at this point.

James Harden ruined a lot of these up and coming players.

Every fanbase knows he is.

And every fanbase got whooped by him.

Evidence: 68 wins

Thunder has a small fanbase, so ofc most people are calling him that. It doesn't make it true.

Did you watch the OKC/DEN series? This is... not the case.

For those confused what I mean… SGA doesn’t get fouled like this. By lifting his own arms into his defenders arms without looking for a shot.

SGA is beating his defender to the spot and will have open shot opportunities but the defense won’t give up the spot and continue to press him. SGA reacts to real contact and the refs call real fouls.

If SGA keeps playing like this in the playoffs, this narrative ‘should’ go away. It won’t but this kid can really score the ball.

I don't think a lot of fans have watched FTA play much so seeing his game now, especially in the conference finals where it's high stakes is very jarring.

Just to be clear: SGA is a great player, easily one of the top 5 players in the league IMO.

You can be physical but you have to do it a certain way.

Can’t use your hands. Can’t cut off a progressing offensive players path from the sides, only in front (a charge). The latter is where SGA punishes everyone. Kids a really damn good scorer.

Denver doesn’t have any crafty guys other than Jokic. Bigs are officiated different cause it’s naturally more physical. Whole lot more goes in with big men (physically).

It’s not that he’s getting to the line a lot - good players like him do. It’s the way he’s getting to the line. He gets a whistle like no other. Which is absolutely insane because of how physical guys like Dort play on the other end

No thats not what it means. I said fans from every fanbase which is like saying a portion of fans or some fans from every fan base feel this way. Maybe English isn't your first language so now stress homie.

It's gonna be corrected, either this series or in the Finals. Refs won't allow that nonsense he's gonna have to really earn his FT's too many eyeballs on games now.
